Not sure if this is against the rules to post it but i sure did feel good when my hair man had a hissy fit over it. If the post gets removed cause it appears to be me advertising then that is fine....I just dont want to get hollered at for not posting my winter projects....lol.

And boy did i ever feel good yesterday when my hairdresser bout had a heart attack while we were putting it up. Im NOT advertising for the shop NOR AM I advertising that i make signs cause technically I DONT. Just realized when my hair man moved into his own shop he couldnt really afford appropriate signs that really got people's attention so i bought a piece of plywood and got to work! ta dah!! Good deed accomplished!! Course, now i have to make ANOTHER one just like it to go the other direction, but thats fine....i need "busy projects" this time of year.

i kinda wondered why the lights were off at the publix in new hope myself...thanks for clarifying. I wasnt looking to buy alcohol at the time but was curious anyways since the liquor store has a sign saying they are open on sundays now. I agree completely...the media attacks the two extremes on a regular basis. The only opinion I can give on this particular topic is the obesity problem with children IS becoming a problem. I saw it when I used to be a Nanny and had three kids to tend to and pick up from school...i watched the kids leaving the school and saw that at least HALF of them were overweight and werent coming out laughing and talking with friends. tons and tons of places up in blue ridge and heading up to vogel and beyond. Lots of folks park at Vogel and pay to park and just take off from there for days and camp on the trails off the app trail. You will need a trail map of course but i probably have one in the vacation folders of the 28 miles worth i hiked anyways. Some areas there is no camping or fires and other smaller inlets into it are fine to just stop and hang a hammock between two trees or pop up a tent. Bear spray advisable..lol

thats cool!!!! kinda sorta looks like "stamps" from various places but then again i cant really see all that well and couldnt enlarge it. Nosy and aware of what is going on around you are two different things. If i saw that in a parking lot i would wonder, hell, ive wondered if someone is living in the camper in a neighbors yard here with the cords running into the house and all but then again i have a son living in my basement apartment and we dont have "rules" here so its not really my business and i dont know the people in the house so..... i dont like new clothes much either...Jeans maybe but the rest of my wardrobe is primarily thrift store stuff. Shoes i can never find but the rest yes. I love both the thrift stores in that strip and when i go i generally check both for whatever i am looking for or for new stuff.

Absolutely!! She is awesome and always willing to help those in need or knock the price down a bit if you are kinda broke...very sweet lady.

awww....nah...just me, but thanks just the same not stubborn ass....just in complete denial....course ive already made it a lot longer than any of the docs expected so one of us is stubborn for certain

1. Spend more time in quiet versus having background noise (stereo/t.v. always going) 2. Completely revamp my living will and trust and assign new power or attorneys (this involves money so that i can pay the lawyer though...itll have to wait till after tax season) 3. Make a nice MANLY quilt for my grandson before something happens to me so he can have SOMETHING that his nana made even though he wont remember me at all. 4. i concur...live music and dancing and pool tables that are KEPT UP would be nice for a change. Only went to Cowboys a handful of times because it was ALL COUNTRY but something with a mix sure would be nice.

they used to have a fifty cent friday and saturday once a month...thats what i was referring to. It was very very busy and hard to look but i wanted to see if they still did that.

My mother graciously gave us the money yesterday to go ahead and get our passports and stamp books yesterday and i went online and looked up some info. One site told me i could fill out all the information on line and scan our pictures from Rite Aide we are gonna get and give them my credit card information and voila. Another told me if this was our first passports (which they are....bucket list..."get a dang passport and at least one stamp in it before i die") we had to apply IN PERSON. Does anybody know which it is and if we have to go in person...umm, where? Thanks...i can always depend

thanks yall...easier than i thought. Didnt feed for a day and got a can of canned food. Set trap on the front porch and didnt even make it thru the house and out the back before it went off. Caught the mama and took her in and now the little ones are calming down quite nicely. There are two more large ones im gonna try to take in one at a time and then hopefully i can handle the babies soon and take them in all at once. Appreciate all the help and suggestions.

okay, i will attempt to catch one or two of them this evening after i get done with all my doctoring in town. We quit feeding them Monday night so maybe they will be good and hungry..hate to do that to the little guys who are only about 2 and half months old, but....

i have an acre and the chicken pen and coop is completely isolated at the top of the property on the opposite end of the house. I do believe that the chickens have around 1/4 of the acre that is entirely their domain and they do not ever even try to "escape" the pen or coop area because of the dog and cats...think im safe with that. I may try to come up with the 25.00 and "rent" one of the smaller traps but i cant see catching them one at a time and managing to get them into a rabbit cage i have without them going nuts on me or the mother really becoming aggitated. Id hate to have them come

I live in a half rental neighborhood and every time a truck pulls in and they stay a year or so they leave their kittie's behind. Sometimes i only have one "wild" stray and other times there will be a pregnant one who gives birth under the porch and later they are all gone. DH loves him some kitties and he feeds them but it has gotten wayyyyyy out of control now. I have seen up to seven at one time counting the mommy and her three babies and my son has reported up to nine in the past week. What exactly can i do or does the pound come out and try to trap them. oh lordie..i stopped sending people!! what i hate worse is "im going to the dang store..be back in about an hour!" and my phone starts ringing the minute i step into the store...i dont answer it till i get back out to the car. They should have told me when i was leaving instead of waiting till i was gone and i really really really hate people who jabber nonstop on the phone in stores so i refuse to BE ONE OF THEM. actually i think technology in general has become my biggest peeve.
