  1. LOL My mom asked me what I wanted just a couple days ago. And I was like "NO!! Not YET!" lol. My boyfriend asked me what I wanted like a MONTH ago..
  2. He is a great guy! I've met him a few times. I remember a few years ago when I was a waitress and a senior in high school..I waited on him and his wife (?). They were extremely nice and polite but I didn't know he was a deputy until after the fact.
  3. Thanks for all the caring posts! I really appreciate it, y'all! Of course my boyfriend is making fun of me, but at the same time he's a little concerned as well. But I think I'll be alright, I just gotta be careful with what surfaces I sit on for a while, and I'll probably start using one our our little pillows we have sitting around the house. I've taken plenty of falls before, landing on my butt...but they never hurt this bad! So that's what makes me think I actually did crack something this time.
  4. I feel fine, other than a sore butt! I do think I may have cracked something...but you can't put a butt in a cast soo, I'm holding off on visiting a doctor unless I notice anything other than the pain in my butt, lol! I can sit on soft surfaces like a couch just fine, but it's the getting up part that kills me. And getting out of my car this morning to go into work..that felt like it took 5 minutes to just get out of my car. Thank you for asking!!
  5. Thank you again for all the replies...the information is very helpful. I will keep an eye on everything. My mom was mad when I told her a few minutes ago what happened, but I didn't tell her this morning before we both left for work. lol. I didn't want her freaking out like moms do.
  6. Oh jeeze! Really? I had no idea you could get whiplash from that.. Well right now I don't feel nauseous anymore. Just sore in my Butt-tocks (like Forrest Gump would say, lol!). And my lower back is sore too. I have a slight headache, but I'm not sure if that's related to this or just work lol.
  7. LOL! Okay don't make me laugh..it hurts. JK it really doesn't...lol.
  8. Just imagine a 21 year old man, manly and muscular as they come...watching Monsters and Aliens and laughing his butt off. lol. I was not only laughin at the movie, but I was laughing at him too!!
  9. OH oh I thought of one..and it's from the same movie Monsters vs. Aliens! ...."I got him guys!....I'm wearin' him down!"... LOL BF and I laugh our butts off everytime they show the commercial, and when we watched the movie we backed it up and watched that part over and over again. lol.
  10. BF and I rented that movie the other day..and HE was cracking up over that one too!! I can't think of any funny quotes of the top of my head, but I just love kids movies anyways. lol.
  11. Thank you! I had a friend that broke his "coccyx" (sp?) one time when we were out fourwheeling..he wrecked his and broke his butt bone, lol. Couldn't do anything for him but give him a foam pillow to sit on for a while, lol!! I'll see how I feel later, might just go to one of those immediate med places because I really don't wanna take off work.
  12. Thanks for all the feedback, y'all! I just thought it was kinda wierd..I mean I've busted it several times before but never really had any after-effects like this. No..I just busted my butt and I know I didn't hit my back or head. Yes it definitely hurts to sit on my office chair but not excruciating. Just enough to hurt a little, but if I sit forward a tiny bit I don't feel it at all. I waited to take some Tylenol until after I ate 3 peanut butter crackers about an hour ago. Before then, I didn't take anything. Thank you!!
  13. We do it ourselves too...just whatever you do, don't bust the gut!!! lol.
  14. So as I was going down my stairs this morning to let my dogs outside..my feet slipped out from under me and I busted my butt pretty good. Fortunately, I only landed on my tail and slid down a couple stairs, but I did land pretty hard! I sat there for a minute, then got up and kept walking to the door and let the dogs out...but I got extremely dizzy and had to sit down. I continued to feel a cold sweat and get nauseous and almost black out. My butt is more than likely going to be a giant bruise tomorrow, my ribs are sore from the hard jar I guess..but I STILL feel nauseous over 4 hours late
  15. I loooove Don't Cry Joni!! And Tiny Dancer (except I prefer Tim McGraw's version since he's the Hotter of the two, lol!)
  16. ..soo...is this knowledge thru experience?? Sorry, just thought that was kinda funny!!
  17. Time Marches On - Tracy Lawrence Two Sparrows in a Hurricane - Tanya Tucker Love of a Woman - Travis Tritt Whenever We're Alone - Brantley Gilbert She's Got You - Brooks & Dunn .....and it all just depends on my mood and the weather. lol. They change from day to day, but those above are some that tend to linger around no matter how I feel.
  18. Guess this is a sign that I need to get a new license! Still have mine from when I wsa 16, but was going to wait until closer to the expiration in 2010 (or 2011? Can't remember which) to renew! I totally forgot about the curfew stipulation on the license. I'll be 21 next march..guess I shouldn't wait to fix it!
  19. I don't know who/what JVC is..lol. So I guess that's a no?
  20. THanks for letting me know, Christina! Sending weatherboy a PM in a minute..
  21. I used to have a savings account, but instead I just started keeping my money in my checking because my checking pays a higher interest...I am definitely still saving though. As much as possible too...
  22. Oh now I sort of understand. I was a waitress for 2 years myself. And we never got overtime even if we worked more than 40. Also, they wouldn't pay us for hours worked past closing time (while we were doing the nightly cleaning). I don't have much more advice, but wish you the best of luck! I know waitressing can be a fun job, but also stressful! And it's hard to live off a waitressing salary when you never know what you're gonna bring home.
  23. Get a part-time job somewhere fun and comfortable! Only needing $200 a week should open up a lot of opportunities. I wish I could make $200 a week and live comfortably, lol. But good luck and I hope you get better!!
