lol- I would not go to the dinner if my parents wanted to go. I say hell no. Do they go out to eat with them every time they go to dinner with their friends? Or they not allowed to do that either? Apparently not bc I did a poll here a few years ago if that was the case when people here went to prom. lol

Looks great!

I looked them all up on fb. How embarrassing for their parents. I knew some of them looked familiar from sports

I'm exhausted by all of these theories. Lol I stated how I felt about this one. We could do what ifs all day. To each their own. I personally do not think they all need felonies if this is their first offense, but I've said that and my reasons many times. I never said they should go unpunished and be put to bed with out dinner lol

All those factors should be taken into consideration is all I am saying. Also take a look at their criminal history and what type of crime it was. Every case would be different based on all that information. I think a senior prank is different than a 30yr old spray painting someones house with racist remarks. Different in many ways. I really do not feel like listing all the ways... They all should not go without punishment and should be taken serious. No I never said that either. I have already said it a few times.
-
I never said that at all, but okay.
-
These are children though. They have not even left high school.
-
It would still be the same to me. They should have to fix all damages, probation or jail time- and depends if this is their first offense. Should their life be over? No But if this was their 5th time doing it then they need a harsher sentence then someone who did it once.

A DUI is not a felony last time I checked. Very different. I also think if a 17yr old gets caught with drugs they shouldnt be in jail for 20 years. First offense charges with a punishment that fits the crime. People Molesting kids get out of jail, but a 17 yr old caught with drugs can be in jail for 20years. Not the same and not the correct punishment IMO. Should it be allowed? NO- but have the punishment fit the crime.

I agree. That is what I would do. Them being in jail for two seconds waiting for you to come and get them is probably their worst punishment morally.( if they are good kids it would be) Then the payback of them being miserable for awhile would step in of many punishments. I would also get a lawyer. Not worth their future.

Not to mention a job, to rent or lease a home, own certain types of business licenses, and much more. Many people check records and they are more than likely are going to the next person without that felony to hire or rent their home to. I just think that is a tad extreme for a very dumb choice some of these kids make.
-
Do I think it was right what they did? No But a felony I think is too extreme to basically ruin these kids life over something like this. Put them in jail a day- probabtion- fix/pay for the damage etc to scare them anything else, but do not have a felony on their record. Kids go too far sometimes bc of peer pressure. Yes they need to be punished, but not sure if taking away their future is the correct way. I know they are not getting the electric chair, but having a felony will make it very hard for them in many ways to ever get a descent job. I agree with the lawyer. It is wo

I would not call that a pity party. If I was leaving a site I would also want my account deleted. FB is the same way now and I hate that. It is nevery fully deleted. Just try to erase as much info as you can.

Weird. It does it on my phone and my home and work computer. All different. Work is automatically updates. SO I am not sure why it would do this. I can get into my messages only if I have a new one. I can click the new message button, but I can not get into anything under my name.

That is what mine does. When I try to click anything under my name it clicks away and it wont let me click anything
