The roads are covered in ice and scary for sure. My neighbor was unable to get into her driveway. My point I made earlier was that I have been listening to the scanner for most of the day today and have heard them calling for DOT to sand and de-ice roads continuously. It just seemed to strike me the wrong way when it was stated they have done nothing. I am very glad your daughter and granddaughters are okay

I am calling BS on this statement. I have heard them being called to scenes and roads over the scanner all day long working their butts off sanding roads ALL over the county.

One of my favs that is hanging in the kids bathroom at my house is If you sprinkle while you tinkle Be a sweetie and wipe the seatie or my personal favorite that I tell all my boys (including the hubby) "I don't pee on the floor so I ain't cleaning it up!"

I am laughing at my son and his friends who are sitting in lawn-n-leaf bags sliding down the hill (which is solid ice) and they are having a blast!!!! They are certainly enjoying their day off from school!
