We've had dish for over 12 yrs and have only had 1 issue with the receiver erasing the recorded shows on it's own, they didn't want to replace our receiver without charging us $200, I told them NO, I wasn't about tp pay for a new box when we have been paying for a service and we weren't getting what we were promised to get. The contract said we would be able to record so many show/hours and the receiver wasn't performing to it's full extent and they finally sent a new receiver, at NO CHARGE!! That's been about 5 yrs ago. NO trouble since. ANd NO, the satellite signal does NOT go out hardly eve

We try to avoid that area like the plague, We go to Costco about once every 6 wks and when we go to Carl Black to do the oil change in my vehicle. Of course, we have to go eat at Jason's Deli when we're up there but, we hardly ever go past I-75. We have when we went to BrandSmart and we have gone to the Varsity a time or two and that's about it.

We were coming from Chapel Hill Rd, which was really busy, went West on Douglas Blvd, we got to the Mall and it was packed, got up and over the big hill and before we got to Chuckie Cheese (on our left) the traffic was at a stand still all the way up to Hwy 5. It was horrible, I guess people were so tired of being couped up in the house for 2 or 3 days. Wonder how they would react to being couped up for a whole week?? As long as we have food and what we need, I don't mind!! It just means that I am NOT out spending money!!!

I heard a loud boom about 5:10 and just now at 5:25 (I type slow!!!) I heard 2 or 3 more. The last ones were in so quick, I really couldn't tell exactly how many booms there were, 2 or 3 maybe???

We heard on the news that a 71 yo Alice Tucker of Douglasville was killed in a wreck on Hwy 6. They said it was Paulding Co but, didn't say exactly where it happened. The stated she hit a patch of black ice, crossed the center line and hit a truck. Prayers for the family and friends.

We've had AT & T, since we've had computers (since 98) and for a few years we did have dial up, then we finally got the DSL, not sure what year that was but probably in the early to middle 2000's. We weren't big on using the computers at that time, we both were working and only used it every now and then, and to play games, of course. I just read about the Merger of Comcast and Time-Warner. (I can't get the Insert Link to work......... Have you noticed any problems or changes?? We have DishNetwork but, Daughter # 1 has Comcast Xfinity. You can check your meter by, making sure ALL of the faucets and so on, is turned off in the house and then go out to your meter and take the top off, if you see the little dial turning, then you have a leak on your side of the water meter, if you don't see it turning, it's on the water dept side. There was a young lady that was from Team USA, some folks in the audience, that was cheering her on, were wearing onsies that looked like they were made out of a USA Flag, that was a DISGRACE to the US Flag!! Of course, that was just MY opinion!!! They really looked stupid, for sure!!!
