We've had sooo many people to pull out in front of us and that's what really prompted me to go ahead and have the Cervical Fusion surgery!! IF, we were to have been hit, I very well could have been paralyzed from my neck down. All in an instant, I would have been forever changed. Which, a woman in an SUV pulled out in front of us on Powder Springs Rd, a few months ago and hubby slammed on the brakes missing the SUV by inches, it seemed. It probably was actually a couple of feet but, no doubt it scared me to death!!! People are in too big of a hurry these days. I just don't understand, why e

Do you cook the cabbage in the juices from the meat? Hubby likes his cabbage on the crispy side and I like mine on the soft side. I usually take some out for him and cook longer for me. But, I want some good corned beef and cabbage, just don't know where to get it. We went to SAMs Club the other day and the Demonstrators were sampling some Corned Beef, it looked more like sandwich meat slices but, the package was at least 1 lb (it looked like it, anyway) but it was $12.99, I said DO WHAT.... Needless to say, I did not get any. Tia

Not really but, I do find some good deals, every now and then. I don't do the extreme coupon shopping trips and I don't shop at Target, I might go there once every two or three months. I really hate that Kroger quit doubling coupons!!! I don't spend as much $$ now, as I did before they quit doubling. Oh well, life goes on!!

Yesterday, I went to Kroger and down the Clearence isle, I found Starbucks Coffee (10 pk K-cups) for $4 AND bags of the12 oz ground coffee, also for $4. I had $2 coupons off of 2 boxes. Which made them $3 a box/bag after coupon. I found my Daughters favorite flavor, in the bottom of the buggy So, I got her 4. They also had Pepsident toothpaste for $.49. The toothpaste will go in my stockpile. I lost the receipt and bought other items as well. I don't remember the total. Today we went back to Kroger and they still had a couple bags of the Starbucks Ground coffee and I had 1 coupon left.

DQ has some of the Best ice cream but, I'm NOT waiting in those loooooong lines to save $1.?? We passed by the one in Hiram today and I didn't see an empty parking space. Probably didn't have an empty seat, either.

I had this surgery in 2009????? Heck I done forgot exactly what year. Dr Michael Laur did the surgery. He is an AWESOME DR, though!!!! He is with Village Podiatry, off of Cadillac Pkwy. It took my a little longer to heal and then Physical Therapy at Restoration Physical Therapy in Hiram. I had to stay off my foot for a month, solid. eta: Sorry it didn't help. It sounds more like Plantar Fasciitis. I used to be a waitress, my feet would be killing my by the time my off days would come around. I would do NOTHING on my off days!!! My body knew when Monday and Tuesday would roll around.

We were there about 11:40 I think and yes, the food was awesome, as usual!!! Oh, the coconut cake was awesome, It tasted like like "Burnt Hickory Mimi's" Coconut Cake!!!!
