I like the look of the new pcom but, that's all. I'd like to have all of the bells and whistles that pcom used to have, that's NOT available with the new board.

Did you have a contract?? How did it affect the contract?? -
I have a some lights that I could donate. If needed.

Yes, you are making good sense. I'd set a limit on each one. If you can't afford much just get them a shirt, or something like that. At least make it something they can use or wear. Try to stay away from the "as seen on tv" stuff, they usually don't work and aren't worth the money!! Good Luck. All of our children are grown, and it sure is hard to figure out what to get them!! We also have 9 gradchildren, between us.

That's very nice of you, to try and get it back to it's rightful owner!!! I was at the Mall in D'ville the day after Black Friday and I had ordered me some wings from the Market Deli and just had picked them up and I turned around to find a table. I saw a lady get up from a table. She had left her Bath & Body Works gift bag on the table. I did not realize she had left a package on the table when she got up. I just sat there and ate my food until she came back to get it. It dpesn't pay to be dishonest!!! Kharma (sp?) is NOT good!!!

What store are you referring to? I thought the "big blue box" store was Best Buy. I refuse to use the self check out lines, I always have a problem with them so, as not to cause anyone else to get in a tizzy because I am taking so long, I fore go the self check out lines!!!

I bought a "real" tree today, first one I've had in about 15-20 yrs, I think. I have it up in the stand, it will have to stand there for a day, to let all the limbs fall into place. Then I can decorate it tomorrow night!!! Wooo hooo, I'm excited!!

Did you see the front page of the AJC today??? There's a story on "Why you're paying too much in Property Taxes." I tried to find a web page but, it said "this page could not be found", imagine that!! It was very interesting!!!!!!!

Yep, you are absolutely correct, on so many more levels than we really care to admit!!!!

It wasn't us, cause I forgot and never had time to stop in and buy some. I really wanted to get some tickets oh well, maybe next year!!

We've always cooked ours for 20 minutes per pound. Never used a bag. The only reason any turkey I cook, gets dry is, if I let it cook too long. Or, if I cook it too far in advance and it just sets there without any type of covering. I've only done that a couple of times and I've been cooking for quite some time. Always keep it covered and baste it every few minutes!!!

Buy enough, you can always take it back and get a refund!!!! Simple Solution............ If you want to make sure the little ones get candy, don't go to the end of the Parade!!

We went to the Georgia Food Bank, in Tallapoosa today and we were very much impressed. The warehouse is HUGE, they also have a store. (I'd compare it to Brooks Salvage) you go in, fill out a short application/info sheet and get a card. Each time you go, you must take your card, there is a $3 fee for a replacement, if you loose it. You pay $10 for a (banana) box of food, if you keep their box, it will be $12 (so....take your own bags or box), otherwise the box will cost you $2. Everything is pre boxed. They will assist you with the loading but typically, the client does it all themselves. Unle

We have St Vincent DePaul on our list of Resources but, I am in search of the Food Bank that someone on here had posted about the $20 deal and you pick out the food your self. It was sometime within the last 2 weeks. Maybe in Rockmart or Cedartown??? Hubby mentioned it to me but, I didn't get to check it out at that time.

I'm not sure which Catholic Church you are referring to but, I have all the ones listed on here already, I was hoping to get the ones in "other" areas.......Rockmart, Cedartown, Douglasville, Bremen, Carrollton, Tallapoosa, and so on. Thanks for all your input!!!

I am trying to find out ALL of the "other" Food Banks in the area. People on here have posted about a place that is $20 and you get a lot of stuff but, No one has actually given a name and address to this place. Please list any and all that you know of. Thanks, Mrs G
