I took celexa about 7months I was happy, calm, not depressed ect, but I tolded the doctor at my check up the only thing I did not like about the medication was that I was sleepy all the time and that I had gained 20 pounds.. What can we do? Then he switched me to Welbutron and I have lost the weight and some and I am back excercising. I have since found out that I have a thyroid problem which can cause depression and all the above as well..so celexa was not for me.. Medicine is different for everyone person, but listen to your doctor don't come off of any anti-depressent without your doctor k

From little Dis stand point as being his mom, I understand his issues and being his mother there is more patience as I have tried to have explained to DH, that kids with adhd, odd, or ocd, ect.. have texture issues and you have work with the child and yes it is a very hard and it is tough. Most kids with adhd have a very hard time with change as well ( shoe's issue) he likes his shoes now and he does wear socks. I can say it took me years to wear long sleeves because I could not stand the way the sleeves felt on my arms so I wore short sleeves all year long...I have worked through my clothing
