Gross.
and GROSS.
Fake or not, urine is urine. It doesn't belong in a microwave, especially one used by the general public.
If I were the next person to have used that microwave, and found out this had taken place, I would be pretty pissed off....

134 AND 135 ARE 10-76
2 WHITE MALES IN A WHITE OLDSMOBILE DELTA 88 ARE REQUESTING DIRECTIONS TO THE MOTEL
1 MALE WEARING A TOBAGGEN, OTHER WEARING A JACKET
Toboggans and jackets in February? No way!
Seriously, I can see where it might be wise to keep an eye on these two, but based solely on the information given here, I would say calling the police in this instance was a bit of an overreaction.....

This is definately a peeve of mine.
On 278, everyday there is a line of cars in each lane, going side by side. They look like they are staging for a race.
Slower traffic, stay to the right!!
Problem is, the race never starts
I think it's a conspiracy....or Cardie. Anybody know what she drives ?

Good post, Nanny. I agree. Why do some people want this to be COBB COUNTY so bad?
What's Cobb County got to do with it? Last I knew, they couldn't sell alcohol on Sunday either, except by the drink.
Would someone please enlighten me as to when there was a vote on this issue?(lifting the ban on Sunday sales, that is-I do recall voting to allow liquor by the drink) I'm going to assume it was before I became a registered voter, because I sure don't remember ever seeing it on a ballot.
From someone who worked in retail for over 20 years (me)I say ... let them have their Sundays off (liquor stores)
I always worked about 30 Sundays a year, and every Saturday of the year
And it gets old !
I say keep Sunday closed .
They work late Saturday nights . Thats bad enough .
I believe they would still be free to remain closed if they so desire, and I'm guessing that like most other stores, they have enough employees to allow each to have a couple of days off each week if they did choose to open on Sunday.
I don't think you'll find a liquor store in this area open later than convenience and grocery stores on Saturday night.
Night and weekend shifts are a given for most who choose to work in retail.

Well, according to the Paulding Sentinel there's now a moratorium on R-2 w/sewer. Thought that couldn't be done without risking a costly court battle but it seems that only applies to high density development or something....I guess
. To be honest, most of the answers. excuses and explanations offered don't add up if you ever really sit down and think about it, but with the increasing number of issues everyone has to deal with from day to day, who the heck has time to pick through the garbage thrown at us to find the truth anymore?
(pun not intended)
Sorry LR. That was pretty lame on his part, no doubt. At least he finally showed his true colors....but still, very lame. Good luck.

I don't care what they choose to believe.
What I a problem with is Scientololgy having tax exempt status as a church for a pyramid scam.
Their right ends where mine begin.
To me, the thread topic looks like a question. Guess not, huh?
My bad.

Here is my point and it is better stated this way:
Down the street looms the Union United Methodist Church, an imposing American Gothic cathedral. There, the Rev. Martin McLee worries that the repeal could make Sunday seem less sacred. "The sacredness of the Sabbath can be preserved, without crossing the line separating church and state," he says. "It has worked for centuries; why change now?"
Like other battles between church and state, the repeal of remaining blue laws may be a sign of how secular America has become. "Religion doesn't play a central role in politics anymore," says Mr. Drummey. "This does represent a shift - more of a symbolic changeover from another time,"
And it's a sign, too, of America's growing pluralism. "The Sabbath was a time for religion, for family, to renew kinship bonds," says Dr. Snyder. "But religion isn't static in this country. Sunday, Christmas, Easter - these aren't necessarily the days of celebration for everybody anymore. [The repeals] show how dynamic society is, and how much things change."
Now you see where I am going with this. Buy it on Saturday and you will not have to worry about it.
Night all.
The Bible doesn't say anything about alcohol. It says drunkenness. If it's consumed on Sunday, chances are that's when the drunkenness will occur (unless they drink it all on Saturday night); either scenario has the potential to interfere with church attendance and/or time with family. You can buy virtually anything you want on Sunday, except alcohol, illegal or otherwise. I just don't understand how it can be better (or any different, actually) to buy booze on Saturday to drink on Sunday than to buy it on Sunday to drink on Sunday. (I also think it would be more accurate to replace the word secular with modern in the above quote....after all, selling alcohol on Sunday has no bearing on the number of people who are Christian or who aren't. The world isn't becoming more secular, it's just becoming more of a dividing issue because there are those who believe you can force others to believe as you do, when even God doesn't want it to be by force. Otherwise, we would all be saved and this discussion wouldn't be taking place. Period.
Seriously, I would like to know what exactly it is that you fear would happen if alcohol were sold on Sunday?
So much better to have JimBob realize that he hasn't stocked up for Sunday just as he's polishing off the last of Saturday night's beer/wine/liquor, prompting him to get behind the wheel of an his pickup truck for a 'quick' trip to the local package store before it closes. Right?

don't alot of the resturants sale alchol on sunday?
It does not bother me if a liquior store is opened right next door to every church in paulding:
You are the one that makes the choice to go in there, no one forces you right? so rather it be on a saturday or sunday you make the choice:
I do not drink, so there fore, this is not a probelm for me:
Me either, but I do think it's an outdated and pointless law. It accomplishes absolutely nothing, except to maybe prevent someone leaving church from having to stand beside a person buying beer at the store as they wait to pay for their gas and lottery tickets
Despite the significant amount of revenue forfeited as a result of this law, it has yet to be changed. Just goes to show you how bass-ackwards the priorities of our elected officials really are.

I've heard a Baptist preacher call Mormons and Jehovah's Witnesses and even Catholics cults before, too. According to Soapmom's definition and accompanying commentary, he would be correct, yet according to her definition Scientology could also be considered a religion.
My personal opinion is that if a person considers it to be his religion, it is his religion and the refusal of others to recognize it as such doesn't change that fact.

I voted I don't know because I don't.
Not to be misconstrued as not knowing what I believe, mind you...but that wasn't the question asked

Here's a thought for you, friend. If you've never owned hunting dogs, then you have no clue about the situation. My 2 dogs love the ride in the back of the truck. They have never jumped out either. Reason beingm they are smart, well trained hunting dogs and have more common sense than most humans I have met.
You can keep your little poodle, Fifi, in your lap if you want to. I wont say a thing about it. Meanwhile, I'll not deprive my dogs of a good trip in the bed of the truck from time to time. They stay in taxis on long trips, but not while I'm just cruising around Paulding, looking for swampy duck grounds to hunt on.
My beagle hound prefers the driver's lap, also. He feels the risk should be distributed equally among all occupants of the vehicle

I refuse to leave the house unless I'm someone else
I do find it's best to be myself when I'm home, though. My cat doesn't take to strangers at all and it just confuses the dog.

Crate training, to my knowledge, is the most effective method of housebreaking. If she does poop in the crate and has to be in there even for a short period afterward, she likely won't do it again. Of course, true crate training requires that the dog be in the crate (it's 'room') whenever it isn't in the presence of one of its family members (for example, when she's sleeping, when nobody's home, etc.) This makes it a positive rather than negative experience, as it becomes a safe place the dog can go if it wants solitude or just wants to get away from everybody/everything for a bit.
That's how the trainer we used years ago explained it, anyway.
Leslie's correct, consistency is key; for dogs, it has to be the same every time. That's the only way they can understand the consequences of a particular action, because no matter how we see them, they are still dogs, after all. Patience in large doses helps, too.
All things considered, the fact that she's healthy enough to now go through normal puppy issues is a blessing itself. Best of luck to you AND to her.

I was glad to see that the iced out pimps at Iced Out Gear! could set me up with some hip hop and bling bling. One less thing to keep me awake at night.

Didn't Barney, Gomer and Otis use one to help get them out of a jam one time?
Here are a few sayings that might help you Arcaidy.
"Inkem binkem notamus rex, protect us all from the man with the hex."
"Fly away buzzard, fly away crow, way down south where the winds don't blow. Rub your nose and give two winks and save us from this awful jinx."
I loved the Andy Griffith show.
Had a ouija board as a kid. Considered it a toy, and a worthless one at that. Not to say they don't work for some, but my experience leads me to say no.

I believe it's some Christians who state that Mormons aren't Christians.

Gonna depend on whether Ivey Gulledge Rd is open or not....if so, look here:
this is the info shown on the county website as of this morning: paulding co landfill info
Hope it's of some help. I haven't been to the landfill in a very long time, and haven't been in that area since they closed Ivey Gulledge Rd. Maybe someone else here can at least say whether the road is open yet or not.
And I hope the links work for you.

65-70 most of the time. Thank goodness I don't have propane anymore (or natural gas, for that matter). It was expensive enough years ago.
The heat pump struggles to keep up in this weather, but considering my power bill has never exceeded $150, I can stand it on the chilly side now and then.

If you don't mind, I think I'll stick with Anti-Christ....

As a long term Sam's/Wal-mart associate, please let me explain the problem you had. We have people coming in quite often trying to return items that they did not buy. We also have people who come in, buy large ticket items, and pay for them with a check. Then they come in a couple of days later and want a refund. Before we implemented the policy of waiting 10 days on check paid returns, we would refund the money to the person, and then their check would bounce.
We have had people to print their own receipts off a computer at home and come in a store or club and try to return items.
I promise that we are not trying to irritate the honest, but trying to prevent the dishonest. If we did not have the practices in place, then we would be robbed even more than we are now and we would have to raise prices to cover.
People are constantly coming up with new ways to try to scam. Unfortunately honest people get caught in us trying to protect the honest. Please do not hold it against the company or the associate.

I don't know, maybe from a couple of locations it would be a shorter route, but for the most part, no, I don't think it's a shortcut to the hospital. Not Paulding Hospital, anyway.

Well no.
They're too busy auctioning themselves off to the highest bidder to be bothered with such trivialities.....
