  1. As an aside...I noticed that you were careful to put an ® in the title

It is no secret that he is a Republican. Practically every media outlet for as long as I can recall has included party affiliation in articles about politicians.

You are pretty consistent in pointing out who the Democrats are whenever their stupidity makes the headlines.

That's a pretty trivial thing to whine about in the grand scheme of things. And the dramatic wording....really? "Careful"?

  2. This is off subject but I think this thread is a good example of most all threads on here. Apparently every damn thing about this country sucks if you are a liberal. We should not be a sovereign nation with immigration laws. The justice system sucks. LEO suck. POTUS sucks. SCOTUS sucks. Conservatives suck. Child services suck. Corporations suck. Free enterprise sucks. Religion sucks. Heterosexuals suck. White men suck. Southerners suck. Morality sucks. Environment sucks. Daylight savings time sucks. Fossil fuels suck. Traffic sucks. Patriotism sucks. Military sucks. You must really be some miserable ass people if this is the way you see the world. If this country sucks so bad get the hell out I for one will not miss you.

By the way not one child has been "jerked" from any ones arms. They are probably truly safe and well fed for the first time in their lives. Do you want these children to be housed with adults some of who are sex offenders? I do believe the children should be reunited with family after the vetting process has been completed. Whether that means asylum in this country or deportation back to their country. There is a process to accomplish this but it takes time.

Actually what sucks is the politicization that has rendered our government incapable of doing the job it is intended to do. They would rather ignore what needs to be done while they spend 2/3 of their time trying to block what their 'opponents' want to do and the other 1/3 stifling what makes this a great country - freedom. If you honestly think there is any difference between the two parties beyond who they are beholden to, you are just not paying attention. And just as being conservative has its good and bad points, so does liberalism. Most people, I would venture to say, are a little of both. Not a thing in the world wrong with that. I'll take those people any day over the radical, closed-minded people on the far end of either side.

LOL not sure where they find the time to pimp their votes out for money, but they do a lot of that too.

  3. I get that Beavers set the bond--I know how it works (didn't work in a law office for years for nothing). The thing I am saying is that if you look at his record--the following are down for who authorized the release. Most arrest records have the name of the bail company there, not the Judge. Just makes it look like a lot of favoritism. Could be an easy explanation that the person keying in the info was wrong, but it does make it look suspicious.

CINDY FOSTER , MAJ GOBLE/SIG BOND , JUDGE FARR , JUDGE VALBUENA , DEMENT,CYNTHIA , PAULDING QUICK BAIL , JUDGE VALBUENA , JUDGE BEAVERS , , JUDGE BEAVERS

Actually there are quite a few people whose release authorizations list a judge or (former) sheriff; for some, this is the case across multiple arrests. To his credit (I guess), I have yet to see Gary's name listed in that capacity.

Your first mistake is looking to politicians for moral guidance...

    :nea:

More like our collective mistakes include 1) not electing ethical, moral leaders and 2) not holding them to a higher standard once they are in office. Stop making excuses for their behavior and treating them like tabloid-worthy celebrities.

Accepting this two-party system is self-defeating and anyone who cares about this country would not buy into it or blindly follow any organization that puts raising money above all else.

  5. I honestly don't know what compels a person to text or use the internet while they are driving. I do know that we are quickly approaching a point where auto insurance won't just be expensive, it will be unaffordable if something doesn't give with the distracted/impaired driving & everyone in such a hurry all the time. In the 30 years I have worked in insurance, I have never seen anywhere near the number of auto accidents reported as I did from August to December of last year.

  6. I am not convinced the experiments in manipulating the ionosphere (HAARP) have not been a factor in some of these catastrophic weather events (and possibly earthquakes) in recent history. They have no idea what changes this stuff will ultimately cause for the planet, on top of the pollution and depletion of resources and I will add global warming, whatever the cause.

  7. Jimmy passed away Monday, 5/22/17. Visitation will be from 4-6 pm at Eberhart Funeral Home on Thursday, 5/25/17 with memorial service at 6 pm.

I was fortunate to call this man my uncle. He will be greatly missed.

    Rest in Peace Jimmy
