My dad was just diagnosed with stage 4 lung cancer (one week ago today) these seven days have been HELL!! Not only for the family but for Dad. He has been hospitalized since Friday with chest pains, rapid heart rate & pneumonia. His heart rate is out of control, increasing to 165 beats per minute at one point last night. At this point we are being told it is in both lungs and he has a mass around his heart, CT scans and X-Rays have not shown it to be elsewhere, he has a PET scan scheduled for Friday to determine exactly what we are against. Please keep Dad and the family in your thoug

GT vs Tennessee replied to Caped Crusader's topic in RECENT TOPICS
I have to work but hubby is off. -
Neither of the girls were able to nurse from their mom before they died... The BIG boy is doing terrific, I have posted some recent pictures of him that I just took this evening. Notice in the picture of him on the white sheet the darker ears and face, I hope he keeps these features they are really cute....

Is that a sign they shed quite enough?!?!?! -
Like most of the other replies, I would like to drop the 30 pounds that I have found over the past 3 years. I would KEEP the extra weight if I could somehow make myself not be defensive with EVERY question or comment my husband makes. I never noticed it until my room mate pointed it out that I am somewhat of a biotch to my husband and I don't know why. He works his butt off for the kids and I (they are not his kids) sometimes working 14 straight days.... I DO Love him, sometimes my tongue is quicker than my brain.....

Diamond was upset when we took the deceased babies, however my husband told her he would take care of the baby so she got back into her box with the sole survivor. I will post some pictures of the male this weekend.

I'm sad to report that both of the girls have passed away. We still have the little male which seems be doing wonderful!

One of our little girls didn't make it thru the day. Were not sure why, we fed her just as we did the other one she just wasnt strong enough. The other little girl is eating, squirming and making the cutest noises, we just hope she continues to grow. The little male continues to be the strongest of the three. The female that didnt make it was the dark tan one, the other one actually looks blue/grey (I think you can see the difference in the pictures). Thanks again for all of your thoughts and concern.

All babies survived the night!! Diamond ate some food before we put her to bed around midnight lastnight, and she ate a couple of spoon's of soft dog food this morning. When we were feeding the babies this morning she was out of her box watching our every move. We were able to get 1.5 ml of puppy formula into each of the small babies before we went to bed and were able to another 1.5 ml's again this morning into each of the girls. The largest puppy, which is our only male is doing terrific, he does not like it when Diamond gets out of the box he whines until she returns. The girls are s

Mom is being very protective of the babies, as I said earlier two of them are VERY small, so small I am concerned about them. We went to Tractor Supply and got some "puppy formula" and bottles to start feeding the two smaller ones. The 2nd born is twice the size of the other two and he is not having a problem at all eating from mom. The larger one is the only male, he is light brown/tan with darker ears, the smallest little girl is gun metal grey in color and she is beautiful! But tiny, as I was feeding her she was fussing and mom got upset so I put her back. The other one is alfo a female

I don't know much I am actually at work, I get off at 5, I will update this evening with pics etc.

I will as soon as I get home, my husband is actually there helping the room mate "deliver" the babies. One is grey and the other is chocolate. The grey one was the first born. Thank you for trying to find a home for the babies, I doubt we will keep any, for those who dont know she is a stray that adopted us on my birthday back in December.

We have our 2nd baby as of 3:30.!!

She has had her first puppy!!!! Yeah Diamond!!!! She was acting strange all day, digging holes in the yard, panting like she ran a mile, she came inside and within an hour she had her first puppy!!! My room mate has to leave so he was going to put her in the basement in a room away from the other animals, while he was down stairs putting her bed in place she had the baby!!! Instead of the basement she and the little one are now in the living room in a huge kinnel (the door is closed off from the other animals) where she can have the rest of the babies. I will update as I hear more. Thanks

Is that possible?!?! Sounds kind of steep to me. I dont eat fish or tuna so I would never pay that $$$

These things are almost impossible to kill. When I married my husband he had one, I have been taking care of it for 4 yrs now and its still alive... I have NO green thumb and usually kill everything I touch, this plant is beautiful when it blooms (ours is kinda confused, its a Christmas Cactus but ours always blooms around Thanksgiving) I water it about once a month and it stays in a window with plenty of sun (year round)
