With EEG, nowadays they use this gel that sticks all those wires to your head. Your hair will be yucky afterwards but you just go home and wash it out. For me MRIs are a breeze, I'm not claustrophobic so they're no big deal. Even with the loud noise, I fall asleep in them. Hope all turns out well. Haha that's funny. I've always pronounced them grand mal. I know about them cause I've had them before. Maybe I'll start calling them Grandma seizures when I'm a Grandma!
