To clarify; El Pollo Loco did not change the name, just translated for those who...........well, I really dont know why. I'm almost insulted by the change. Is it because the people of Paulding are so out of touch that they cant tranlate a couple of simple Spanish words? Ask one of your kids, I'm sure they can. I agree; complaining that DT Dallas is not now, or ever will be, a viable shopping/entertainment district, is like kicking a dead horse. The horse (Dallas) could care less and you are just wasting your time. Move on.

I've usually had more than my share of "drinks" while being the entertainer/entertainee when away on business and the last thing I want to do is drink on the return trip. To each his own, I guess.

I've said it before; Downtown Dallas will never be a Mecca for business or consumers. The design is all wrong and there isnt much anyone (architect, City Planner, designer, City Council) can do about it. Therefore I have given up; Paulding is where I sleep at night; Cobb, Bartow, Fulton, Carollton is where I spend my weekends, and my disposable income. Sad, but true.

I just want to give a great big THANK YOU to Vito's. My wife and I were actually visiting the music store next door and decided to grab a bite. The food was great and when I asked for the check I got a real suprise; my meal was free for Fathers day. Thanks again and we will be back soon.

My condolences to Jeff's family and friends, Jeff and I were in High School together, but just barely; he was a Senior and I was a Freshman. We all ran in the same circle at that time, but as often time happens in life; we went in different directions. I had not seen or spoke with him in 15-20 Years. He was a restless soul and I can only hope he has now found peace.
