I also had the radioactive iodine ablation and if I had to do it over again, I would not choose to have it done again. Keep in mind you will be on some kind of medicine for the rest of your life. You will have a choice of two. Yes two different meds. so if your system does not get along with one of them, then you choice is one. This subject makes me kind of nuts cause for the number of women suffering through this there are very few resourses out there. Lots of women have it, get up in the morning, take a pill and everything is fine.....but then again for quite a few it does not work like
