someone said they were out yesterday too but I rarely travel that road so I only saw them today. They may not be out there anymore, just be aware that they are doing this and be careful! It is easy to swerve on that road and I would hate for them to be ran over by anyone not paying attention because of their stupidity or someone else hit someone head on trying to miss them.

They are putting drivers lives at risk on an already winding and dangerous road by attempting to push each other out into oncoming and passing traffic. One is fat and the other thin, poorly dressed and laughing like they are at six flags when vehicles pass. I am glad I was watching the road well or I would of hit the fat one as the thin one pushed him out nearly in front of my car!

I agree. Still black ice everywhere! Nebo is terrible towards publix. Everyone should be thankful their kids will be safe at home, right? We have a lake behind our house and its still frozen so I know there are still icy spots in a lot of places. In face, we have ice patches because of the trees around our roads. Black ice still around a lot of areas folks!

If the kids should be riding in an area that the parents "think" they are at, then, the parents aren't really keeping up with their children anyway. Thats like sending your kids to a neighbors house all day and never checking in to see if thats where they are. They could be somewhere else and if they have 4 wheelers, the parents shouldn't be sending them to go ride somewhere out of their site anyway! I DO however agree that should of called 911. I would have.

prescription strenght ibuprofen is 800 mg pills to be taken twice a day. Any more than that is an overdose! Check with your doctor about taking that much, or at least a pharmacist.

Just want to make sure everyone is aware of this. I guess there are still several roads unpassable. I am glad the school takes this precaution but I sure need to get back to work! Still, better safe than sorry!

You would be surprised how many parents send their kids out for the day, and, could care less if they come home or not. Sad but true. Thankfully, there are also many loving, good and nurturing parents in this world too.

Is this white stuff sleet or snow? Its radar shows snow but it looks like sleet, although the yards are white like snow. Thought maybe it might be tiny snow flakes.

Don't get your hopes up too high. Even though it shows ice and snow, its actually not hitting the ground. Checked with my sources in Cedartown, and, also my sources in Alabama where it shows snow and ice. It just isn't happening. Its not going to hit the ground. We may get some rain though.

all you havle to do is call the water department and IF you're able to get through, they will tell you, "no, this is just a rumor." I'm not sure it would hurt or help to boil water. Can't get through again to confirm this.
