Some of my favorite helpful pieces of advice have come from my mother who suggested I try the Department of Labor. She also told me I might need to just get a job..........until I could find a real job. Bless her heart. I love her.

I got electronically rejected for a position that I hadn't finished applying to yet. which leads me to believe that nobody is actually monitoring online apps and the machines are truly taking over.

Unfortunately, that's kind of true. and I'm an administrative assistant. There are tons of jobs posted but tons of people looking for the same thing apparently. and a lot of crap pay. I think it was easier to find a job when you had to walk around handing out your resume.

On the news just now it says husband "rushed home to take her to the hospital". So he wasn't even home. That doesn't sound like they were very concerned about time constraints. And "severe" chest pains? You get my ass an ambulance. Dumbass.

Years ago my dad had a zit on his nose that wouldn't go away. He was messing with it one day and discovered that the "zit" was a nose hair that had grown THROUGH his nose. THROUGH his nose. Yeah.

I just don't understand why a person's size should be a concern to anyone else. Unless you are their parent and the person is a child it's none of your business.
