Yes he was ( he said he is out now for good) doing a work release program. I guess my main point here is what is the purpose of jail in this type situation. If they are just sleeping, and eating there. What lesson are they suppossed to learn from this? They get up go to work--get paid. then go sleep and eat at tax payers expence. Then after a few months get out. I just guess I am missing the point on this one.

I had never heard of one drawing UE while in jail that is all. I know the program itself of work release is legit. Not questioning that at all. I was just asking about the drawing while locked up thing. I know p.coms advice is just that. I was trying to have a conversation that did not include snow, or anything else that is old news. So moving on now.

Well when they let him out to look for work they gave him back his clothes and his stuff. Which included his cell phone. Then when he went back in he turned it all back in to them and suited up.

Well Ms. G he had a cell phone, so I guess he done his own calling while out looking for work. ????

Are the rules County or State rules? Maybe each County is diffrenet?

Well I guess the thought of jail has always been (locked up) and just to hear him say well they kind of throw me out every morning to look for work. But I have to be back each night by ____ time. Seemed a little weird to me. But I don't know what he was in for either.

Well what is the point in jail????? What if he got a job---would he then serve anytime at all? Ok let me play this way for a min. ok so he draws money from the govt. and then the tax payers also flip the bill for his food, and housing while in jail at night ???????????? I am a little on this one. lol

Well now I will say this, he did say he had been on work release. Where they would let him out during the day to look for work. And lock him back up at night. So ????????
