    I was diagnosed in June with stage 3 Breast Cancer. I had a full mast. and they found it in my lymph nodes too. I will have my 6th treatment of chemo this Friday. It is totally up to you how aggressive you want your doctors to be. Chemo does suck - big time, but it has not been as bad as I had heard it was. Your attitude is your best friend! Be as positive as you can - Think of it as a journey. I have a lot of wonderful memories and have made a lot of wonderful friends during my journey and I would not trade them for anything!

    My mother-in-law is from England (free health care) and that is how it is done. You are only allowed to discuss one thing! I guess your wife's doctor is just trying to prepare you for the future.

    Read an article today about Mamograms: Contact Susan G Komen - They have grants that you can apply for. They also stated that you can set up payment plans. Call SCREENATLANTA at 770-667-4400. They are a mobile unit that provides mamograms. This is so important ladies- It could mean life or death! Cancer is a silent killer! Keep those TATA's on! If you have money to donate - Please do that too!!! Every little bit helps!

    GET CHECKED!!!! Do what you have to do! It does not run in my family and here I sit at 38 with Breast Cancer! I even had the genetics test done and it came back negative. SAVE SECOND BASE!!!!! Try Christina Applegate - She was on Ellen last week and said you can get a a free mam with the help of her foundation. I am sure there is help out there if you start to look. http://www.rightactionforwomen.org/
