I hope you feel better soon. This is heartbreaking to hear and I hope the that you find peace in the problems. It's a shame that doctors aren't paying more attention to this. When were you diagnosed?

Happy to check if someone wants to PM me the password.

PS, Putin is now in this too. Y'all need to stop being so short sighted and realize that we could very well be on the cusp of a world war.

This "wipe out the region" mentality is so frightening. I guess that's why there are leaders and strategists…and then there are executioners.

OMSquee! I'm deleting my post. PS, thought momof3 posted this. If I had read the author correctly, I would have known he was being cheeky.

You're playing semantics. But, that's okay. That statement usually does shut down most of the needle happy -

If your kids are vaccinated, and these vaccines are so effective…why are you worried about my unvaccinated kid infecting your kid with polio? Just wondering... -
About a month ago, I went to Starbucks as I do most mornings and got my coffee in the drive thru. The barista failed to put the lid on properly and when I picked it up, the entire coffee spilled all over me…and my car. My center console is the phone, AC, navigation, etc. and it completely shorted out the system. August, no AC, and the stench of rotting milk…ugh. Anyways, $1,300 later, the car is fine again…and Starbucks is actually working with me on potential reimbursement. Cautionary tale - check your lids folks!

It was on the news. They arrested the kid. There will be increased police at the school today. -

WAFL, were you able to go to the doc 3 weeks later? As of right now, Mike is fine, but I have *heard* that these things can take a little while to show up. We don't want a payout - that's not our thing (as you well know), but having back issues (of no fault but my old body) that cost us the best part of 6K in the last 12 months, I'd like to see if that cost can be avoided. -

And I do, but I shouldn't have to. What I do with my children should be my choice and I shouldn't have to supply anything to anyone to get them to "waive" my decisions when it comes to my children's bodies. -

It's a 2007. I'm not really worried about the vehicle (except for the fact that now I know he's going to get rid of the paid off truck for that Audi he's been eyeing), I'm more worried about the medical issues. Thank you all, I think that we'll stay away from attorneys for the time being. -

You're wrong. I find it deplorable that the government can force you to put something (anything!) into your children's bodies in order for them to be allowed the benefit of education - that you pay for with your tax dollars! It's alarming. Unsettling. Wrong. -

If you're old, or immunocompromised, you should get all the shots you want. You've got a 50/50 chance anyways. But - the fact is that CHILDREN, perfectly healthy CHILDREN, are being forced to have these if they want an education. -

I still feel like you're talking bout medical technology in terms of major conditions vs. chicken pox or the flu. Chicken pox and the flu, by and large, are GOOD for our immune systems. The body is an amazing thing, why we feel we need to go messing with it unnecessarily is beyond me. If it aint broke and all that. -

There is damage, the back of the car (Explorer) was smashed in. It's drivable, but you can't open the back or anything. My husband is worried about chassy (sp? who am I kidding, I don't know the word) - big damage. He's worried about big damage. -

I completely agree. Polio - which is transmitted largely by fecal matter - affected children for obvious reason. Vaccination for that is good. Here's the way I look at it. Is the disease really bad? Like you're gonna die bad? Vaccinate. Is the disease really easy to contract? Vaccinate. Bad disease + easy transmission = need for vaccine However, we vaccinate for things like chicken pox which doesn't kill many people, unless your immune compromised. Or HepB, HPV and HIV - when children aren't having sex. There is no reason to vaccinate for these things and it just wrecks havo -

As of right now, I don't think that there is any reason for a claim. But, I also don't want to get stuck with massive medical bills if something shows up later because my husband didn't do something in the right order. Hopefully, it's a non issue. I don't have the time to deal with the hoops that insurance companies make you go through. Thanks for the advice, Pubs. I'll check him out. -
He was rear ended yesterday by a guy going 50mph. He was the third car and was hit by the impact of the second car. I hope that makes sense. Anyways, he's calling the insurance company, but now he's freaking out. He's wondering what this will do the value of the car and he's worried that his back issues could flair as a result, though right now he feels okay. I'm not one of these litigious people, so I have no idea what to do. And the internet has proven no help. Any advice?

Cool. You go ahead and get a toxin injected into your body…I'll wash my hands and not sleep around. -
Are we accurately measuring threats?

Let me tell you, if you're Arab - I'm watching you. If you're Arab in a highly populated place - I'm stalking you. If you're Arab, in a populated place, with a backpack - I'm leaving. Racial Profiling? You betcha. But I won't be picking pieces of my family off the sidewalk - and I don't give a damn what anyone thinks of it! -
Do you think this is poor taste?

Sorry, this just seems to have been…weird. We heard about Columbine for years; the NFL scandal and the Kardashians have had a longer shelf life than the 26 murdered children. Just…I dunno. I just don't know. Not a single parent has published a book? Seems…I dunno. -

Well, that's a sample report. Obviously, the report is tailored to your zip code. Still, I'm tempted to complain as it just seems wildly insensitive (and I'm not even sure if I believe that SH happened).
