  1. My husband grew up in Northern Ireland during The Troubles. His father as part of the Irish guard. Terrorists do try to paralyze us with fear, but I suppose we could ask some of the parents that had their children blown up how they feel about "not letting terrorism win".
  2. My husband and I are thinking about opening a gun store - he needs a hobby. Naturally, being business oriented, I started researching the market. I came across a site that does market research and so I looked at a sample report. You can see it here: http://www.nssf.org/research/cmr/SAMPLE_CMR_0814.pdf If you scroll to the third page, you'll see that they used Newtown as their sample address data. It immediately turned me off.
  3. Redneck Rivera. But, let's be honest, you're not going to jump on a plane every time you want to have sand in your toes. Not when you're 6 hours away in a car.
  4. It's PCB. It is what it is. Go west; after vacationing in Destin, I think that is even getting tough to enjoy…and we're looking to buy.
  5. Don't stop posting, just don't rip someone else a new backside because they read.
  6. I'm sorry that you struggle to articulate someone else's circumstances properly. Good luck - and my prayers are with that baby.
  7. I actually got a "code blue" from Nixle on this... http://www.foxnews.com/us/2014/09/17/suspect-idd-in-pennsylvania-trooper-ambush-sharp-shooter-who-doesnt-miss/ While we would probably look like survivalists/preppers to MANY - my family is very far from this anti-government weirdo types…but, these are popping up more and more.
  8. You think that this is a choice? Or is it a limitation of poor government? This is what too much government results in...
  9. This is so sad https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=I1jpMvbmgsY
  10. Oh dear, this is so Jerry Springer. Let me make this simple for you - if a CHILD is in danger, or potential danger, if you even have an inkling of danger - tell EVERYONE. Tell the hospital, tell the police, tell DFACS, tell the media…tell anyone and everyone who will listen because it IS your responsibility. It is ALL of our responsibility to protect the most innocent of lives. And, for the record, the doctors CAN test the baby - I would imagine it would show drug addiction?
  11. There's a lot of Christians that are in Iraq that would call their plight a humanitarian crisis as well. Why the drastic difference in response? Further, we're sending 3000 troops into a largely Muslim area - and make no mistakes, this is a military mission. I'm starting to question if there are people that want a full scale world war.
  12. Sen. Dianne Feinstein (D-Calif.), the chairman of the Senate Intelligence Committee, wrote in a recent op-ed that the threat ISIS poses cannot be overstated. She went on to describe the group as the most vicious, well-funded and militant terrorist organization we have ever seen. 450 troops. Ebola poses little risk to the U.S. general population, Stephan Monroe of CDCs National Center for Emerging & Zoonotic Infectious Diseases told reporters in a conference call. Its because you have to be in direct contact with someone who is ill to become infected. 3000 troops While I re
  13. http://fellowshipoftheminds.com/2013/01/11/remarkable-resemblance-of-sandy-hook-victims-and-professional-crisis-actors/ This freaked me out.
  14. Serious dude. Why are you all over me all.the.time? Get off my nuts, big guy.
  15. I actually despise them. And Apple made ALL iPhone users get the album. Taking up space on my phone. And I can't get it out of my cloud!!!!
  16. Really?! I just checked and U2 has made it's way to my iPhone. I find the forced hacking of my phone to put garbage music on it not only offensive, but potentially harmful.
  17. Excited for this one! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JETykU7YnE4
  18. I don't understand why you guys are still pushing this - like pissing in the wind. If people want to blindly accept what their government tells them - let em. Let's face it, the herd needs a little thinning.
  19. It is truly alarming that so many Americans want to forfeit their place at the top of the food chain. My only thought as to why is: - They hate the consumerism of America and hope that a shift in power will humble us - They have never left the country to see what it's really like While I would love to ride my unicorns under the rainbows of a peaceful utopia, it aint gonna happen. And if you can't be loved, you sure as hell better be feared.
  20. I hate phablets, so I *may* wait for the next version with payments in the small handset. As a music junkie and a total app nerd, I just can't imagine not having the simple syncing of the Apple products. Not to mention, everything is in the cloud - except financials. Oh, and the watch is pretty slick looking, so that doesn't suck. No more dropping my phone on the treadmill!!!!!!!!!! A glorious day for first world problems
  21. So, I admit that I'm a convert fanboy. While I resisted Apple for as long as humanly possible, I am not a full convert. So, who's getting the 6? 6+? I haven't decided, but I have no idea why they didn't put the payment option on the 6 - why the need for a phablet to get the option? I'm really, really, REALLY excited for the iWatch. I was going to get a fitbit when Tory Burch finally came out with something to make it cute, but I'm going to wait. maybe. It's only $200.
  22. It's clear…you're a hippie. And not up to date on current events. Why not hop back on the mystery bus to your utopia in Nepal and get off the tax roll?
  23. http://www.foxnews.com/world/2014/09/11/digital-jihad-isis-al-qaeda-seek-cyber-caliphate-to-launch-attacks-on-us/ Jihadists in the Middle East are ramping up efforts to mount a massive cyber attack on the U.S., with leaders from both Islamic State and Al Qaeda - including a hacker who once broke into former British Prime Minister Tony Blair's Gmail account - recruiting web savvy radicals, FoxNews.com has learned. I started my career in security and I had lunch with a very good friend that has interests in this high level government control cyber-security…this will happen. And
