  1. This little girl is ridiculously stunning.
  2. Pansies? Nope. Bagonias? Nope. What flowering plants can I post that the deer won't eat?
  3. Her attorney must be kicking himself for putting her on the stand - I know that was her only chance, but this is just humiliating. He's not even bothering to object anymore.
  4. It's one of those, give a person a fish vs. teaching them to fish things, isn't it? LGM, you are crafty - have you looked into micro-funding or crowd-funding? Does this solve your problem? No. But you do seem to post about lots of foreign travel desires and you're very socially engaged, so perhaps you can get ahead of some of these expenses by using social funding to help you produce your crafts on a larger scale for mass distribution and real income. Try Kiva.
  5. Or you could help her start selling Thirty-One gifts? I have a friend making damn near 6 figures selling Stella and Dot - she has 2 kids and is a stay at home mom and full time student pursuing her masters in business administration. Just a thought...pyramid selling is ideal for someone that needs a flexible work schedule and likes to network, I couldn't think of a better candidate for such a thing than LGM.
  6. Oh, I do know a thing or two Which is why I said that I steer very clear of her posts for a reason...but, this one just rubbed me way wrong, because it really came across as begging. I stand by my suggestion of gaining employment (or a 2nd or third job) to fund ones travels.
  7. You know, I usually stay far away from your threads...but, this sheeze bothers me. You're over 21, how about a JOB? You're too old to be "fundraising", if you want to go on some world peace retreat, might I suggest working for the opportunity instead of 'begging for change' - no pun intended. I've known MANY people that have pursued philanthropic endeavors, both in school and out, large scale and small - all of them WORKED for it. Make some sheeze, and sell it. Or, go and get a part time job somewhere - I seriously doubt you'd have a hard time finding an undesirable shift at a gas sta
  8. Shrug - I find the architecture and design to be impressive - but, then again, I really love Moroccan and middle eastern decor. While it's certainly not something that my Pottery Barn taste would have for myself, I think it's a beautiful home. Gaudy? Perhaps, but everytime I hear someone call some thing gaudy (ie, Gypsie sisters), I think of the famous artist Gaudi...and if you've ever seen his work, it certainly fits the bill. Of course, it's also remarkable in it's own right and certain something to behold. What's funny is that I absolutely HATE country decor - hunter green? maroon? roos
  9. It's ostentatious to be certain, but he's of some middle eastern decent, so this fits his culture well. Whether you'd admit it or not, every person in this thread (myself included) would be wow'd by such an unusual home.
  10. I, seriously, have no idea how they make it through the days. Every set back she posts leave me in awe and wonder of how she finds the strength. I seriously don't know what I would do in that situation, but I don't think I would be as graceful as this family has been...
  11. Just wanted to add a quick note - Tripp is still in the hospital. His mom is at the RMH - RMH is for family stay, not stay for the sick, but it also family to be NEAR and still comfortable (a respite if you will). Side note, RMH is also where my family was able to stay during my SIL's initial cancer diagnosis - it is an incredible charity, so if you eat at McD's, PLEASE considering putting some change in the collection!!!!
  12. Awesome - you may also want to look up, psychopath, antisocial behavior, and manic depressive disorder. And self-aware. Actually, start with self aware...it will help the rest make sense to you. On further thought, forget the dictionary, you need to spend more time with the DSM.
  13. I'm trying to figure out when you became so close to jalapino joes. The whole thing confuses me.
  14. This is good to know!! My family is in Port St. Lucie (just north of WPB) and they all struggle for work - there's just not a lot of jobs (and they work in the lower wage industries). For me, I've found a few companies moving there (orlando area mostly), but there's not a huge amount of professional jobs. Florida is a state for the rich or those in tourism. Not having spent much time in the panhandle, I guess I forget that there's probably lots of gulf area jobs. Believe me, I've contemplated not having state income tax OFTEN. Plus, overall, Florida is a very...'whatever' state. If you nee
  15. She would actually do herself a world of good if she embraced her new body and stopped trying to squeeze into ill fitting clothes. ALL bodies are beautiful, however, NO ONE looks good in a sausage suit.
  16. I'm guessing that you retired, because there are NO jobs there! And that you must live in N. Florida, because 20+ years in SoFlo and there was a lot of traffic and crime! It is easier to ride a bike, though. And all my family is still there, I miss them
  17. Rome, Italy. It is the most amazing place on the planet. The city is so friendly, the coffee and food is out of this world and it's so beautiful. The people of Rome are the most colorful that I've ever seen, and to have the Coliseum and the Vatican RIGHT THERE, you would never know it was a tourist town. The local places are easy to find and very welcoming. And you're a train ride away from some beautiful coastal areas that transport you to a totally different place. I love the Amalfi coast. I love the country - it.is.perfect. in EVERY way. Oh, and the wine......................
  18. My husband thinks she's ugly as well. Once of her primary sources of income was as a "booth babe" for tradeshows. She's also very articulate - that doesn't mean smart, but I wouldn't exactly call her stupid. She's a sociopath. And a smug bitch. And she THINKS she far prettier than she is....BUT, I can't call her ugly.
  19. OMG!!!!! She forgets things when men questions her?!?!?!?!?!?!?! I thought that she was going to walk...but, I'm taking it back. She will fry. She can't take the cross - and this isn't even harsh cross!!
  20. I've been catching it on Nancy Grace - what did I miss? Aside from that she can remember where she bought the bottles of water she drank the night of the murder, but can't remember stabbing her love 29 times... WAIT!!! Are they cross-examining her now?!?!
  21. I am expecting a baby in 3 weeks, but I need to have my house sprayed. We live in a wildlife refuge, Arbor Foundation tree city, surrounded by trees, and I have seen 2 bugs and a 3 silverfish in the last few weeks. I'm seriously shocked that it hasn't sent me into preterm labor. Needless to say, I need the house napalmed. Does anyone know if pest control service is safe for pregnancy? Newborns? Do we want to get a hotel for a couple of days? I do realize that I can just call and ask the bug guys, but I'm a little hesitant to trust the guy that carries the loss/gain of my business.
  22. I love Johnny Lang - saw him when he was a wee lad back in 2000, then caught him a couple times at the JazzFest. He's the bees knees.
