  1. Not big things...of course. But, little things? I wear glasses and I lose my glasses every 6 months, if I'm lucky to make it that long. He's so tired of it that I've resorted to getting the model number of my glasses and buying the identical pair without him knowing. Do you do something often that you fear telling your SO about?
  2. I went at 8am, no line! In Cobb, though.
  3. It's the airbrushing. I love the airbrushing. If I ever have a reason to go to the redneck riviera, I WILL be getting something airbrushed...besides my boobs.
  4. I seriously have a soft spot in my heart for people...I always have. I guess that's why I wanted to be a Psychologist so badly - still don't know why I didn't follow through. Personality types are so cool to me. I've been sitting on jury duty this week and 75 people in a small room makes for some great personality watching. I also love watching people that are bat sheeze crazy. This is not good for my karma, but the stupid things people do to draw attention to themselves just cracks me up. Anyways, here's my people watching shot of the day - as seen this weekend.
  5. What day are YOU opening presents? Don't give me that one gift on Christmas Eve crap...that's not CHRISTMAS.
  6. Thank you. I do digital coffee table books every year to celebrate our anniversary. He really likes pottery, and though it's been a while since I've been behind a wheel, I'm thinking that might work. Dunno. I'm stuck.
  7. Fair enough...but I didn't realize that social networks allowed people to share their financial histories.
  8. I really don't give a damn about your sense of humor or your favorite food or movie, I care about how you're going to spend my money. And if you want to run for office, that's ALL that should be able to be found on the internet. You can call it vaneered or whatever, but I don't think that an elected official should be representing anything but the people for their elected term. I don't want to so much as see them endorsing a Coke can while I'm paying their salary. If you want to post on the internet, post about me and how you're going to make my life better. I don't care about yours.
  9. Damn LGM, I didn't know that Scott was laid off! Sorry to hear. I'm underemployed, for now, but hoping that will change soon. I do a really good job of spending DSO's money.
  10. This would seem to fall under common sense to me, but if you're going to run for political office, you shouldn't have a Facebook or any other accessible personal information. Time for a new manager.
  11. I went to Starbucks this morning, and it's time for the red cups...again...I have a couple of questions. Has anyone used CardsDirect for their Christmas cards? Me and DSO are not doing gifts for us this year...but I still want a few stocking stuffers and maybe a little something for under the tree. What is the most sentimental gift you've given or been given (not by kids)?
  12. So, where would it blow? Cargo doesn't come in with passenger planes. At least, not usually. I just don't see it being very proficient.
  13. This would be much cooler if you said he had a tail. Don't freak, I'm sure all is fine.
  14. Yeah, I just don't get it though...because it wouldn't cause that much devestation. I wonder how they caught it? Maybe they screen all packages from Yemen?
  15. It's ridiculous. $5000 an hour. I keep crossing my fingers that we'll get to take the company plane one day.
  16. http://www.foxnews.com/ U.S. and international authorities investigate whether multiple suspicious packages originating from Yemen found aboard UPS flights landing in Newark, N.J., Philadelphia and England are part of a terror group's rehearsal for a mail bomb attack. I really wish they would pick different cities.
  17. Who cares if the airport people see you naked?
  18. I think that "punks" must be more of a small town problem. We only have to worry about the real criminals. I wouldn't worry about vandalism whether my light was on or off...only a fraction of people hand out candy anyways, so a light off on a house is just par for the course.
  19. You know I love a good train wreck. I really hate paying my $110 cable bill for an hour of TV (MAYBE) a day.
  20. Oprah, Dr Phil, Bridezillas, all the TNT shows, all the Real Housewives, Weeds, Dexter, a couple movies and a few documentaries. How is sheeze my Dad Says?
  21. First row which is bulk head. That's interesting that you were able to upgrade already. The auto upgrades usually only happen the day before or the day of.
  22. Principal? Quite honestly, a child could knock on my door ANY day and I would be thrilled to give them a piece of candy. Seriously, how many kids do folks get? Are you getting thousands? Or a few dozen?
  23. For Continental, it's only if you're Platinum. But I wouldn't get too excited just yet - Long flights to destinations like Hawaii almost always full first with fare paying flyers.
  24. I'm just wondering what the big deal is with giving out candy on BOTH Saturday and Sunday? Is it a financial issue? This hard line, "I'm not participating on XXX" seems like it only hurts the kids and their Halloween experience. I'll have candy, and my light on, Saturday and Sunday. No reason why I should punish kids for the calendar. Happy Halloween!
  25. There is a solution to this...private plane. If you've got an extra $15K sitting around (and that's just to get to Miami).
