  1. I'm not meaning to laugh, but I am having thoughts of what the shapes are really going to look like when they come out of that thing. I love kids.
  2. I am seriously wondering if I can use this to get insurance to pick up extensions.
  3. A Disney Princess Waffer Maker? What are you getting her next year? A vacuum?
  4. If this thread hadn't have been posted, I would have waited another month and everything would have been out of stock. There is a method to my madness.
  5. Well, I just put a grand on the credit card thanks to you guys. Can't wait until I tell DSO tonight.
  6. I'm doing it now. The idea of physically shopping for children is beyond me.
  7. They called an unnecessary roughness on that play? That's BS...there was nothing wrong with that play.
  8. OMG! Those ARE perfect!!! But they don't come in black. I already have brown riders!
  9. They are both Frye. They make the best riders...so cute! I'm also going to grab this adorable pair of Burberry rain boots!
  10. Boot season is killing me. I can't decide which riders I like better. I actually wanted something a little funkier, but can't seem to find any.
  11. Up to the Princeton house again. Hoping not to get piocked for just duty so that i can fly standby tonight.
  12. The punishment is to the tax payers. We're not removing a person from society that is harmful or dangerous....stupid, yes without a doubt. Well, the good news is that she won't have children, so at least we're not welfaring them in her absence.
  13. Good stuff. She may serve 20 after good behavior, etc. Which makes her 45 when she's released and she's unemployable with 20+ years left to live on welfare.
  14. NC, if she had stayed on the scene, she would have likely escaped all felony counts and would have only been charged with misdemenors resulting in almost nothing. The reason that she's getting vehicular homocide is that leaving the scene is considered "aggrevating" the accident. She should have stayed, no doubt. But, it's still amazing to me that someone that has a lapse in judgement (she did show remorse in her tearful testemony and said, "I have to pay for this, I'm going to jail for a long time") will go away for life and a rapist that knowingly calculates the harm of another person can
  15. I was speaking to your statement that accidents don't happen. I did find infor that the mother knew 2 days after the accident.
  16. I'm sorry for your loss. Obviously, 80 in a 40 is reckless driving. That is not the case here, though. "Paying attention" - I caution you to be careful what you say...I would be very surprised if you NEVER had a lapse in judgement or distraction while driving. The simple fact that you HAVE children means that's it pretty likely you've been a distracted driver. This should be clarified, I can't find anywhere where it's been stated that her mother KNEW about the accident. Scared children can say many things..."Mom, I ran over a curb". Mom says, "it's just a bumper, let's repair it inste
  17. Here's a bit of background on Aimee The daughter of an Atlanta elementary school teacher and a Department of Defense employee, Michael had graduated the year before from the University of Pittsburgh with a major in psychology. She had planned to go on to business school -- and even filed an application with Wake Forest University four days after the crash. But an ice cream run to a Publix in her parent’s car changed her life. So, we're taking a person that would have probably gone on to do good things in the community and we're forcing her into a likely circular life or crime, o
  18. Valid point on the drinking. From what I understand of what I've read, she crossed multiple lanes (far left to far right, I think - since it happened on Camp Creek) to make it into a turn lane...she side swiped a car in her blind spot. That car crossed the median and hot another car head on, which then hit another car. I just can't imagine being 22 and in that situation. I suppose since she had damage, she was well aware that she was at least PART of an accident, even if she didn't feel that she caused it. Again, I guess I'm just thinking of the tax dollars.
  19. That seems too lenient to me. She needs to serve some time, I just don't know if life is reasonable. Certainly her life is over after her time is served, so she's going to come out and likely just continue to drain the system. If I remember correctly, she's also a mom? Which means that her absence is putting another life at grave danger of being an unproductive member of society. Still, lives were lost. Could you imagine if you were the parent that lost the child and the cause of the crash got community service? I would be so mad!
  20. For those that do not know, this is the mom that was responsible for a crash last Easter, fled the scene and then tried to cover it up. Here's more: http://www.ajc.com/news/atlanta/easter-crash-trial-fleeing-715993.html I have a bit of mixed feelings on this. I agree that she broke the law by fleeing the scene. She went further when she fixed her car and took 10 days to be found. But, I also think about the tax dollars that will be spent to house her for the rest of her life, when she didn't intend to do anything. She wasn't drinking, she wasn't driving recklessly, she wasn't speeding.
  21. I am incapable of lying, unless in this case by omission. If he were to ever ask, I CAN'T lie to him.
  22. You're so fickle. I don't fear the money - he's just more of a "how do you lose your GLASSES, they're attached to your face" kinda thing.
