I know how your feeling. DS was in the Marines, his was the unit that went in first at the start of the Iraq war. I didn't hear from him that Mother's day and I was worried sick. I did get a call a couple of months later. I know it doesn't help, but no news is good news most of the time. I often had to keep reminding myself of that during those times.{{{hugs }}}}

DH also has PTSD and he would never have this on his license.

OK your right this is one crazy topic. NC-17 there is a home school football program. They play other programs and yes it is still governed by the school athletics board. Whomever that might be. That program being available is one of the reasons I am seriously considering home school for DS.

I say no and how stupid is that? The Vet needs to go and get the help that is readily avilaible. BTW buddy a lot of the police have ptsd too.

I miss my mom so much. She passed away August 29th 2004 the day my youngest turned 5. I still want to pick up the phone and call her every day and I can't bring myself to delete her number from my phonebook. She loved roses, but she had this beautiful Gardenia in her front yard that she babied and when I smell roses and gardenias I think of mom. Imagine my delight when we bought our house and there is a beautiful gardenia bush in the back yard. I love you Mom.

I think the ones of us that have voted have kids that are still in elementary school. Or may be starting MS next year. I don't know where the current ones are though.

I agree with most of your post except for the bolded part. Renters pay just like the rest of us. The only difference is when the taxes are raised and their rent goes up they can up and move if they want.

That's 3 parks out of 12 Parks. How bout they become Ruritan's? Maybe they can get Subby to fix the equipment and cut down on the purchases. I think they already have the Jail inmates doing the ground maintenance. If they don't then that would also be another way to save money.

You do know that most of the ball fields are private parks. IF they get any tax money it is very little. The rest comes from the Rutians and registration fees. I think Mt. Tabor and that other park (I can't recall the name) off of Pine Valley are county parks. The rest are not. The county does not pay for the upkeep and maintenance of these parks. They do not pay for the utilities. So there is no savings there. What's the deal with everybody wanting to cut baseball and football? If it were a race track would you be so quick to cut it?
