  1. I am welled up with emotion. You have such a generous heart.

Steve, Nemmie, Millcreek and Laurie..... BRAVO!

I went to meet Thomas in the hospital...I saw that his pain is real. I pray that all goes well for Thomas. Like I said, I'd rather pay for a few days for him to stay some where, if not...he could be on the street. If I can pay for a place for him for a few days, that just gives everyone a few days more to try and figure everything out!

  2. Try mine, look at earlier shameless plug! 3/1in Downtown Dallas with fenced in yard and large hardwood trees every where. It was built in 1921 but totally renovated see above post.

THANKS!! I need all of the prayers I can get!

  5. What exactly is it that she does that you find so annoying? Is it her voice? Her mannerisms? Her attitude?

What type of position does she have?
    Sales
At Home Depot I am in charge of training the newbies - Ask MrsGoBLue how much my drinking increased when I took over that roll.....At my new job, I am the boss of the newbies, wish me luck.
Yep...I suppose I might as well just get over it and have a drink or two or ten
  6. Well I've been in 3 interviews with her so far. I just got to ask the questions....not make the choice obviously! She just drives me freaking nuts. Everything about her. Gosh I love my job...I don't want her to ruin it :(

Don't mean to sound utterly stupid or anything but are the two of you doing interviewing of others? I find that odd if she is the 'new' person and she is making decisions so soon. Did I miss something?

No...I was in when we were interviewing her! I don't have a say in who gets hired...I only ask the questions.

  7. What more could anyone ask you to do? You've opened up your home and tried your best to place this animal in a home! Perhaps the dog is better off at the shelter where it will get more exposure to potential homes and they will have more time to let the dog out!

It was wonderful of you to try so hard!

  8. If you are nasty enough, maybe you can run HER off. :p

hmmmmmm...... I don't want to do that...What if I get fired instead!! I just hope that this position doesn't workout for her. That is so hateful...I know...but I just can't work with her!

  9. Already? That was quick. It's only been about 2 hrs right?

  10. I know there are a lot of people who have been trying to sell their home for a while. A couple of things I would like to tell you.

Houses are sitting on the market longer than normal, which everyone is aware of.

Pricing is key in getting your home sold. While you may take a hit on the sale of your home, you should be able to recoup that loss in the purchase of your new home. Especially if you are looking to buy a large home.

Staging the house is also key. Do what it takes to get your home sold. Declutter, organize and make the house look as new as possible.

Keep in mind that there are HUGE incentives being offered by builders right now. Considering offering your own type of incentive. If you are working with an agent, they should be able to help you in that effort. Something like a free TV with a full price offer, or a vacation or a gift card to Rooms To Go. Keep in mind that if your price is not right then no matter what you offer, you probably won't sell it.

Also, try to make the first 20 seconds POP. What I mean by that is, people ususally form an opinion within the first 20 seconds of viewing a home. Make sure that you have an inviting front door, a pleasant smell, and clean carpets.

I hope this helps. It is a frustrating time for realtors right now, but with the right price, the right agent and a motivated home owner you can make it happen!!

    THANKS!!
