  1. This is so funny... My daughter's curling iron died thanksgiving day and you would have thought the world ended... But I can relate...DO NOT TOUCH MAMA'S ROUND BRUSH !!!! yea it's old and yucky looking, but it is essential in my everyday function of getting dressed. without it I am not complete. My sympathy's are with you and hope you find another soon that you can love as much as your first CHI...... hehe

  2. Would getting her another one help take her mind off of it, by giving her something else to take care of??

That a good question ??? Should we consider another puppy at this time ??? Belle could never be replaced. She told me she would like a kitten, would prefer a little older cat than kitten , which I would consider... just don't know if it would be the same.

  3. O.K. P.com Friends, I need help...as you may have read, MIL's Chi baby died on sat. morning. She is 88 and has Alzheimer's (early stages) She is absolutely devastated !!! Cried non stop since it happened. We all loved the little pup and will miss her as well. My problem is I am so afraid she is going to make her self physically sick with her Grief. I gave he the poem about the Rainbow bridge...made her cry more...we have all her pictures put away at this point ...she can't stand to look at them.... She is still saying it is her fault because she put her in the rain to go potty (it was misting and 50 degrees that morning) PLEASE HELP ME what can I tell her to make her feel better, it is breaking my heart to see her suffer like this. I have losts pets and understand the pain but not to this extent. HELP !!!!!

You have got to put a red nose on that "Reindeer"... we cut a soft Christmas ornament in half and stuck it on the Mule deers nose for years, the kids loved it ( it has now retired to the sons house to start a new tradition with his kids)

  6. Our 6 year old granddaughter lives with us. She has been gone the last 2 days to visit with her Daddy and Memaw.

Papa was pacing the floor and I ask what was wrong !! He replied.....Gosh I wish she would come home I miss her getting on my nerves !! I just laughed...She is our sunshine(along with the other 9 we have) and it is awful quite around here when she is gone.

  7. Thanks Lovelife for the poem, I think I will print this and give it to her with a picture of Belle !!!

Thanks everyone for your kind words.. I have told her that all my P.com friends are keeping her in their thoughts today.

My Hubby has buried her in the corner of the yard (in the rain) and made he a little white cross with her name on it... the grandbabies will get some flowers later. So sad for all of us !!! she was the sweetist little furbaby

  8. My 88 yr. old MIL lives with us and has her 'Little Belle" for 8 years. She woke us up this morning to tell us she had let her out to go potty and she could not find her. We found her in the yard only a few steps for the porch and she had passed away. She has not been feeling well and has been to the Vet twice in the last week, they told us she had a heart mumer and possiably some allergies. I not sure what happened except a heart attack. We are all very sad and it will be so hard on My MIL, she was her loyal companion, and slept at her head on her pillow every night.

She is inconsolable at this point. Please keep us in your prayers 'little Belle" will be Missed !!!!

  9. My POPO son and fellow officers has had a busy day on duty, Family fights, shooting, stand off, car wrecks

Please say a prayer for all involved..I know that this happens most days in the county, but with it being Thanksgiving it just make me sad !!! (His thanksgiving plate is in the microwave)

  10. Thank you Ms. G for posting this Some Day it is so crazy in my household And I needed this reminder....I take care of my Mom (74) and my MIL (88) with Alzheimer's, and yes they can be a hand full I get ill and cranky with all of their shanaigans also BUT, Like you said they are our moms and I feel very bless to have this time in their lives to help them, we have had SO MANY great times together and I realize the that tomorrow they could be gone. I think about were my life would be with out them. Yep, I step back a hundred times a day and get a deep breath, put on my smile and comply to their wishes !!! We remember all the time they have done the same for me and my husband as mothers raising us

I is very hard, I know that. But I want more that anything for their Golden years to be Happy, comfortable and safe.
