I can relate, when I go to the dentist I have to have Valium, my biggest fear is losing it if I get too afraid. The pain is not the issue, it is more about the invasive nature of a procedure. It makes you feel vulnerable and out of control. I make myself think of other things, and will sometimes dig my nails into my hand or pinch myself to distract myself during the procedure. I also try to think of the people doing the procedure, they don't like hurting you but it is the only way they can help you. We had fights at our school growing up, but it was mostly boys. A few girls would pull hair and such, but nothing like this. Kids are very different now, less supervision, so many parents work with long commutes it is hard on all involved. 18 is still a kid, a kid with big problems, now society's problem, what a waste.

You are right! it goes in cycles up here, we have a lot of accidents, then the SO patrols heavily for a while and it gets better. A few months after they stop the accidents start increasing again. They are always up here by the way, I see them all the time, but it takes them being aggressive up here, and I know that other parts of the county need protection too.

Our commerce members have been very good to provide nice prizes within the limit that the law places on us. In fact Nemie has some waiting on me to pick up, I can't wait to see what she has for us.

There are no such thing as a fender bender up here. We have lost many friends and neighbors on this HWY, we always get anxious when we hear of an accident up here. The stretch from our subdivision to just past the store there has had a lot of fatalities.

Thanks for the heads up, hubby was just leaving. He is going to try taking the back side of Burnt Hickory subdivision and taking school road around and coming out on 61 there at the Burnt Hickory ball field.
