A very big issue is emotional attachment being transferred from parents to other kids. Your child is to young to have their emotional trust and needs being put into the hands of another child. This is something parents need to guard diligently against. Sex replaces affection for young teens. They want to trust the ones that understand them, other teens. Children need to be talked to and parents need to reinforce scenarios that show they have the children's best interest at heart. If you sit back and do nothing your child can and will replace you with these relationships. Hanging

I agree with boys needing to be talked to. When I was growing up they would say that all boys will ask and it is on the girl to say no. As though a man had no culpability in the matter should a girl say yes. Guess what girls are saying yes, because they are going together, that makes it ok! Listen to the kids and what they are saying. The term going together should make alarm bells go off in your head. If not you need to catch up. It needs to be explained to your daughter in plain terms, that she is not loved or appreciated by a young man for being a semen receptacle.

I just believe that children are not mature enough for any type of opposite sex relationship until they are in their late teens. They tend to take the consequences much more serious as they get older. Temptation is also reduced. Kids believe that emotional attachment makes it ok. My expectations when it comes to my kids sex lives are not unrealistic. I do see some of the pitfalls. Celibate until 20 something probably not, extremely careful, choosy, waiting as long as possible, absolutely. To me this means not getting into relationships too soon.

The first reason that starts sometimes as early as 12 years old it is the.. GOING TOGETHER HOW CUTE! The second thing is the parent being........ OK WITH THIS! The third thing is the child's natural progression of moving from a parent relationship to a premature attachment and trust, AND AFFECTION/SEX TO ANOTHER TEEN. The forth reason lots of time spent alone away from adults, also known as AUTOMOBILES. The fifth reason. NO SHAME OR APPEARANCE OF NEGATIVE CONSEQUENCES ATTACHED TO TEEN PREGNANCY. I know that many want their loved ones to do everything possible to save themselves because they do not want to face the pain of loosing them. IMO at some point this becomes selfish. Our lives truly are our own. Love should be generous and compassionate, everyone's tolerance for pain whether it be physical or emotional is different. It is not a sin to die.

From what I understanding there were videos circulating of people having intercourse on the hoods of cars on the street in broad daylight. Not to mention the trash thrown in the streets, lawns ruined from being urinated and defecated on. I saw a flock of robins today. I have never seen robins in a flock. Is that unusual or have I just never seen it before?
