Considering that there is a law concerning seatbelt use then it seems that if someone put their child in a vehicle and did not restrain them properly then it would not be considered an accident.

That's not to bad- at least by 8:00 Pm- but when you got the crapping sounded BOOM BOOM BOOM - rattling your windows at 10:00/11:00 at night and people in and out and teenagers getting drunk - that's a whole different story!

I was in Chic fil A today and there were some teenage girls in there with shorts up to their - well anyway- why would you let your kid leave the house with all their "stuff" hanging out? And the whole clothes to tight thing - I don't get.

See if JLH has a video camera and then he can post it on PCOM for you!

It's actually 10pm- BUT they can not just sit in their cars in thier driveway and play music cause they wanna hang out in their yard and annoy the crap out of their neighbors. I wonder if you live the same hood as me? The neighbors across the street since DH went over there the other night - not sure what was said but they have been very quite.

I gotta say- that Skeeter Repellent is DA BOMB!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I was outside cutting grass and the boys were slapping their legs- me I sprayed with the spray BEFORE I went outside. I realized the boys didn't and then made them go back in and spray- they did- no more slapping at skeeters!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! WOO HOO! Also when Mr. Go*Bama (dont' tell him I called him that) went to camp this weekend with the kids- NO SKEETER bites! See ya tomorrow (already told the boys)

I don't think it's cruel- I think you are making things easier for both of you. ADHD kids when faced with to many choices get overwhelmed (learned this with my oldest daughter who still has this problem)- so you actually may have done him a favor and are teaching him a lesson all at the same time. You're wife is being his mother and is being some what overprotective because it's what moms do.

Yep- pay attention to what the kids around you are saying, the way they walk, the "accessories" and the colors of them they are wearing, that graffiti actually means something!

All I can do is sit here and cry. I remember the way that from the very begining Denise handeled all of this with such a grace that I know comes only from having complete faith and trust in the Lord- I would often think to myself - would I be able to handle such an event with that much grace? That whole family as been an inspiration to me and even though I don't personally know them they have helped me in my own walk. Do you have caller id or you could use *69 and then do a reverse lookup on yellowpages.com and get the address that the kids called from that way. If it's a cell phone it won't give you an adress but sometimes a name - and you can also use yellowpages.com to look up people that way. Maybe just hide the cars when you are home and don't answer the phone if it's a number you don't recoginize (sp) and maybe he will just show up and at least you will have a chance to talk to him. The way they are brought up or lack of up bringing should I say! Most of the time (not in all cases) you only have to look at the parents to understand why the kids are they way they are. Prayers for eveyone who was involved in this mess last night.

If all of these people who are so worried about the state of their marriage wouldn't watch the show - then there wouldn't be a show and their lives would be private again. Just because someone puts it on TV doesn't mean you have to put your TV on!

My children and I were parked at Carl Black down by the road. I have never felt such sadness and pride in all my life! All I could do was stand there with my hand over my heart flags in hand and cry. My prayers are with this family.
