Another idea for camping and swimming is beautiful Mt. Cheaha State Park, the highest point in Alabama. You can walk out to Bald Rock, it is beautiful. Not a long or difficult drive either. Also, at the foot of the mountain is Anniston, AL which has a really great Museum of Natural History with some displays the boys would probably enjoy. Close by is Talladega, AL with the Motorsport Hall of Fame. (If you ever watch a race at Talladega on TV you can see Mt. Cheaha in the background) Plenty of nice eating places in the Oxford/Anniston area, too. Just an idea for a variety of things to do in the

I am not surprised. Especially with the holiday falling on a Saturday. YAY!!!! FINALLY a holiday falls to the advantage of DH. Since he is off on Sunday's he will actually get a 2 day week-end!!!!

I will believe Lowe's is coming to Paulding County when they have their Grand Opening. DH retired from Lowe's in 2001 and for years while he was still working there was talk about various locations they would build in Paulding.
