It's nice to hear that you had that kind of care. Did you post before that you had sleep apnea---or maybe you were just having a sleep study? I just wondered because I had read about someone with sleep apnea needing special attention during a colonoscopy.

I think it's a good idea to collect these, but I've always wondered why they wait until January. Wouldn't September be better? Is there a reason for them to choose January? -
Karlie Tackles Seizures with Magic Diet Published On 11/21/2011 Six-year-old Karlie Earhart is a picky eater. She won’t eat sweets or carbohydrate-rich foods, and she incorporates cream or butter into every meal. She’s picky about what she eats, not because she has sensitive taste buds, but because she wants her seizures to stop. Karlie’s on the “magic diet.” The meal plan Karlie has fondly nicknamed is known clinically as the ketogenic diet – a diet high in fat and low in carbohydrates. While variations of this diet have been used to treat seizures since at least biblical tim

Doing What Someone Else Expects You To Do

If she ever decides she wants things to be different she could benefit from the book, Boundaries: When to Say YES, When to Say NO, To Take Control of Your Life by Henry Cloud and John Townsend. The authors also have a website and videos online. -

This is some information on chia seeds that I got in an email from Dr. David G. Williams: There's a forgotten discovery from the Aztecs that's making a resurgence, and with good reason. It's filled with vital omega-3s, minerals, and fiber. In fact, I think it's the answer to some of the biggest dietary challenges we face today—since it gives you so much of what the modern American diet is missing. The food I'm talking about is chia seeds. It amazes me that such tiny seeds, scarcely bigger than a pepper grind, can have such a huge impact on your health. But back in the 1

This recipe is different, too. Butternut Squash Risotto A faster, no-fuss version of risotto made with quick-cooking brown rice. The squash gives it a creamy texture. Try this recipe with other types of winter squash as well. Makes 6 servings; 1 cup each 3 cups (about 1 pound) fresh butternut squash cubes (or use frozen butternut squash cubes) One 14.5-ounce can reduced-sodium vegetable broth 2 teaspoons olive oil 2 medium onions, chopped 3 garlic cloves, finely chopped 1 cup instant (parboiled) brown rice 1/2 cup dry white wine 1/4 teaspoon ground nutmeg 1/2 cup (1 ounce) freshly grat

I saw this book at amazon.com that looks interesting. The author, Shadd Maruna, has written several books. This one has won an award and has 5 star reviews. The title is: Making Good: How Ex-Convicts Reform and Rebuild Their Lives. You can use the search feature to read pages. The description from amazon.com/: Can hardened criminals really reform? Making Good provides resounding proof that the answer is yes. This book provides a fascinating narrative analysis of the lives of repeat offenders who, by all statistical measures, should have continued on the criminal path but instead have creat

Ideally respect for oneself and others is learned at home, but the broken window theory shows that there are other ways to influence behavior for the better.

I noticed hulu.com has this, but I haven't watched it. In 1991, a short-lived primetime remake was produced by MGM Television and aired on NBC from January 13 to March 22. The revival was a lavish, big budget weekly serial combining gothic romance and stylistic horror. Although it was a huge hit at introduction (watched by almost 1 in 4 households according to official ratings during that time period), the onset of the Gulf War caused NBC to continually preempt or reschedule the episodes resulting in declining ratings. It was canceled after the first season. The final episode ended wit
