When my youngest son was in Kindergarten, they called me to come get him from school because he was sick. When I got there he was feeling better because he had thrown up all over himself. He was embarrassed and was very quiet on the ride home.
He asked me if he could get a happy meal and I told him that he had a stomach bug and he couldn't have anything but clear liquids until he was better.
He was silent for a few minutes and then asked, "Are the liquids clear so the bug can't see them?"

The best place we ever camped on the beach is Flagler Beach State Park. You are right on the beach. No dunes between you and the ocean. It was heaven at night when there was a full moon and could see and hear the waves!

There was someone named Danny a while back. His number is 678-313-6327.

Hope the picture will go through for you - of this Army soldier in Iraq with his tiny 'plot' of grass in front of his tent. It's heartwarming! Here is a soldier stationed in Iraq , stationed in a big sand box. He asked his wife to send him dirt ( U.S. soil), fertilizer, and some grass seed so that he can have the sweet aroma, and feel the grass grow beneath his feet When the men of the squadron have a mission that they are going on, they take turns walking through the grass and the American soil -- to bring them good luck.
If you notice, he is even cutting the grass with a pair of a scissors. Sometimes we are in such a hurry that we don't stop and think about the little things that we take for granted.
Upon receiving this, say a little prayer for our soldiers that give and give (and give up) so unselfishly for us.

Saturday night we discovered that the oven was not working so on Monday I called Pates. We set an appt for today at 1 pm and he was here right on time. Fixed my oven in record time and gave me 10% off of the service call because of Pcom. Pubby, you've made it very difficult to ever move away from paulding county!

Last spring, I called Ragsdale when our AC was not cooling properly. Let me also say that the lady that answers the phone there has always been helpful and cordial.
They came out that day and assessed the situation. Bottom line, old unit, compresser was shot. I was not asked to pay anything. When I decided to replace the system, there was going to be a week's wait unit the new unit came in so the technician brought over a refurbished unit and put it in for us to use until our unit came in.
I have nothing but good things to say about them.

I've had standing water in my backyard for some time, especially after it rained hard, so I called Matt to come out and look at it. He thought he could tell what the problem was and brought out a bobcat and dug around. Then came the bad news! It seemed worse and needed extra line run. Price went up!
When he got started today, he came back to tell me that he was right in the beginning and there was no need to run the extra pipe. He had already done a lot of work on my back yard to prepare for the extra line. They fixed the problem, dumped two loads of dirt and smoothed the ruts in my yard for HALF of what he quoted me for the job. They were super and worked around my flower beds as much as possible.
