Aw, man, I was there when Ghost came in! Such a sweetie and the Mom was just crying her eyes out! She lost her home and someone had stolen everything she had of value. She really didn't want to give her dog up. I'm so sorry and I am not even a dog person.

We put clay litter in the bottom of ours to keep smells down. I wonder if it keeps the flies from laying eggs? We haven't seen any creepy-crawlies.

Rio, you're absolutely right and I started out with pix of the older cats and got distracted. Jason, Harley, Cali (declawed), and the others are older cats with less chance of being adopted.
This is Ghost. He was turned in today as the shelter closed. He may be part husky but is that beautiful vanilla color. Someone NEEDS him.

I visited the cat room at the shelter today and wanted to take them all home with me! I got a few pix with my phone to show you folks who might be wanting a kitty of your own. I have my eye on Harley and Jerryloves LSU left his kitty's siblings so they are there, too. The dog was an owner turn-in as I was leaving. Mama was bawling and he is named "Ghost" so if anyone wants a sweet dog, greenmeadow says maybe part husky, head on up there. He is not a runner, BTW.

I picked a cake up from Sugarbakers for a shower on Saturday. It was so cute and a number of people at the shower asked me where I got it. It was so moist! BTW, thanks ladies for the cute decorations...

I've also been checking out hospices for my mom. There is one in Powder Springs and the number is 770-222-6801. It is Walton Hospice.
