Mine has been driving me crazy as well. I don't know how I did it over the summer. Yesterday I gave my 5 year old rain boots, a rain coat and an umbrella and sent his ass outside. He had a blast and I had a moment of peace. I may be making a trip to the liquor store today. LOL

Yes, it was shown on the local news, Georgia's Most Wanted and the Montel Williams show. You probably remember hearing about it. Shad and his cousin were both murdered, placed in the trunk of a car and the car was set on fire. They dropped the car on I-20 close to I-285. Because of the location, the case belongs to Atlanta Homicide. Until they can prove the murder took place in Paulding (which they do believe it did) the case will not be investigated here in Paulding. Thanks everyone for your prayers.

Seven years ago tonight Shad was murdered. His case still remains unsolved. I've been playing this night over and over in my head all day today. I may never know what happened to him. Maybe it's too much for me to handle. Whatever the reason, God is protecting me from it. I still want to know. I won't rest until I do. Shad was a true blessing to me. I worked for Jim several years ago too. He was a great man. He would always send me to the store to purchase things I'd never heard of. I was only 18. I remember being so nervous that I would purchase the wrong thing. He wouldn't let me drive my own vehichle so I had to cruise around in his huge lincoln towncars. I'm sure I looked so funny. I will miss him and I know the ladies that still work for him will too. He was so much more than a boss. When you worked for him, you were family.

I will never forget that day. I was at work in Atlanta when an employee ran past my office going into the conference room. I went in to see what was wrong and was horrified when I walked in. The last "slumber" party I went to we played a game that asked several yes and no "Have you ever..." questions. The one with the most Yes answers was crowned the queen and the one with the most no's also got a prize. It was a fun game and was interesting to see my friends lie thinking I didn't know better. It was suppose to be a "quiet" game but we all told on ourselves when we wrote our answers down. I also learned a few things about them I didn't know or didn't want to know. LOL

I don't see what the big deal is. We had a family member to get it earlier this week. He is fine now and will be going back to school tomorrow. I paniced when we learned he had it but after calling my doctors office and seeing the treatment for the family member made me wonder why everyone has made such a big deal about it. He was down for about 3 days and like I said is fine now. My doctor office told me they had treated 4 people with it last week and they were treating it like the regular flu advising patients to take theraflu.
