If you'll go back and look at my original statement, I said Clinton Camp, not Clinton Campaign as you posted. Orly Tailz is who I was referring to, and the link I posted about her is easily verified if you are interested in the truth.

Guys - It was Hillary's camp that started the birther stuff when Obama ran against her for the '08 election. Once they made it an issue, a lot of people took at look at it, and developed their own concerns. If you go back and check the real facts regarding Obama's history, how the Obama camp hid from this for the longest, and then all the controversy over the document they did finally release; it all looks very suspicious. The rule I cited is true, regardless of whether or not he was born on US soil.

There were different rules in effect then. I can't look it up right now, but the mother had to be not only a US citizen, but she had to reside in the US a certain number if years past a certain age. Obama's mother did not meet those qualifications. So he would have had to be born on US soil or on a US base to be natural born.

This particular thing, perhaps. But he did go by Barry Soetoro while he was a student in Indonesia if memory serves.
