  1. You're a big boy, you can look it up. Just compare cities like Chiago, New York, Los Angeles, D.C, etc, which all have HEAVY gun laws and restrictions and compare them to cities that do not have heavy gun laws, like many cities in Texas, Georgia, Alabama, Wyoming, Alaska, etc. And another nice little read.
  2. I have been in to many military installations and have NEVER seen "near instantaneous" response times and the MP's were hardly all over the place. I take that back... I was at Dobbin's one day when the President flew in. I got locked down and was not able to leave. MP's were everywhere. I did regular work for the Army reserve command center. I worked in the office of a brigidere general on many occasions. There was not an MP in the same building that I was. They run security at the entrances and they have roving patrols, just like urban police. Response time on a military install
  3. Look at the state of our country compared to even 20 years ago, much less in the 50's. Hell no, I don't believe people as a whole have more sense. Our society has become stupid and lazy. Parents don't teach their children morals anymore. Parent's don't teach personal responsibility anymore. Schools are hideous and completely ineffective for the most part. We have people graduating that can barely do basic math. People want something for nothing. I have less trust in people today than I did 20 years ago. Nope, I don't need to be a prepper. I'm perfectly capable of
  4. Columbine was armed? You obviously don't know much about military installations, do you? Do you know, that unless there is actually firearms training going on, there are very few weapons available on military bases? Do you think the soldiers are allowed to keep their rifles with them at all times? No, the firearms are issued to them, as needed. MP's and maybe a few others would be armed on base... the average military person is not armed.
  5. THAT has got to be the dumbest statement of all time, when talking about the 2nd Amendment. Do you honestly think that if/when the time comes that people have to revolt against their government, that the government will not do anything and everything in it's power to confiscate all weapons for sale? Do you honestly think, in a revolution scenario, that Adventure Outdoors is still going to be selling weapons? Congratulations! You will the dumbest of the day award. Please tell that to the other countries, that have in the past 30-50 years have had to face the very same t
  6. Yeah, you really are stupid, aren't you? What part of "SHALL NOT BE INFRINGED" do you not understand? There are NO limits put forth on the 2nd Amendment, except by idiots that have no clue as to what it's purpose and design is for. That's funny... there's 260 million people in the United States and there's over 88 million legally owned firearms. Once again, you're spouting numbers from your liberal, un-factual, pie hole. There are MORE gun owning households now than there have ever been in history. Nobody said we all have to agree. But we do have to follow the law o
  7. First, it's not a clip. It's a magazine. Your ignorance shows yet again. Second, I suggest you go back and watch the video again. It did NOT take the "experienced guy" 5 seconds to change out the magazine. It took the experienced guy about 2 seconds to change it out and the guy at the first video, which stated it was his second time shooting, about 3-3.5 seconds. Your ignorance once again is showing. Neither the AR-15 nor the M1 are capable of fully automatic. The AR-15 is a semi-automatic rifle. The M16 and M4 rifles are capable of select fire in three modes: semi-aut
  8. Animal, Pubby has no clue as to what the purpose of the 2nd Amendment is for. So, naturally, he would say that it's not in violation of it.
  9. No, God blessed me with the skills to be a firearms instructor. Again, something you know NOTHING about. But thanks for playing.
  10. I don't believe naive was the term I used. No, I know that SOME of the criminals get their guns from the black market. I know that the CT shooter did NOT get his guns from the black market. As far as the other... what's your point? Regulating the size of a magazine does NOTHING for the number of guns stolen or bought on the black market. Maybe you should try some more stats. Do you know that MOST firearms that are used in the commission of a crime are handguns? So, keep trying, but your point is still meaningless. So, sue me. You are about as dense as lea
  11. Both Stoddard's and Adventure Outdoors offer classes and both are taught by NRA certified instructors. I have not been in the Adventure Outdoors range, as of yet. I'm not sure how it is. I'm sure it's a top notch range though... Stoddard's has a very nice class room upstairs and a state of the art firing range. I used to teach at Hot Shots (what Wild West Traders is now). We had a good program. The last time I was in Wild West, I was not impressed with the personnel that was in there or the shop in general. That's not indicative of the instruction, I would be hesitant a
  12. Terrorism expert? Nope. Certified Firearm's Instructor? Yep. Qualified Expert on all three disciplines (rifle, shotgun, & pistol)? Yep. Personal and Home Defense Expert? Yep. Concealed Carry Expert? Yep.
  13. First off, I said absolutely NOTHING about a sawed-off shotgun. Second off, they are NOT illegal. They are perfectly legal. All you have to do is comply with NFA requirements and pay a $200 tax. So, once again, you're talking WAY above your knowledge. I see your understanding of the English language is about as poor as your understanding of the subject at hand. I did not say that 10, 10 round magazines were as efficient and effective as having 1 100 round magazine. Since you didn't comprehend it the first time, I said there was the weight and bulk different between a 10 ro
  14. Sharpshooter huh? Last time I checked, that is NOT Expert. Sharpshooter is below expert, last time I checked. But ya know what? That STILL doesn't make you an expert on domestic terrorism.
  15. Ok, and still... that makes you are domestic terrorism expert, how? That makes you are firearms, expert, how? That makes you an AR-15 expert, how? If you stop digging now, you MIGHT be able to crawl out of the hole you're digging yourself in too and making yourself look like an uneducated idiot. Now, thanks for play... move along please...
  16. Wow, being a cook in Vietnam makes you an EXPERT on domestic terrorism?
  17. I put a lot of thought in to ways of killing people? Because I know something about firearms.... I think about killing people? I'm obsessed with having one of these high capacity magazines? Nope, not obsessed with having one at all. As I stated, a person intent on causing harm could do just as much carnage with a low capacity. There's no "wild imagination" about anything I stated. The numbers I posted are maybe 2nd grade math... I'm sorry that you're too ignorant (or possible stupid) on the subject to understand.
  18. Why don't you just stop? You haven't a clue as to what you are talking about. Yes, individual magazines add bulk and weight. Do you have any idea how much a 10 Round AR magazine weights? Let me tell you, it's about 3 oz. The weight of a 10 round magazine (3oz) vs. a 30 round magazine(5oz) in an AR platform rifle is negligible. With nothing more than magazine belt holsters, a person can take as many 10 round magazines in to do just as much carnagage as as was done in the CT shootings. Add a tactical vest and you double or triple that capacity. The capacity of the magazine has
  19. Don't know about all fast-food, but that doesn't affect McDonald's. If you are "parked," the counter is still going. The counter doesn't get stopped until the order is fulfilled. The main reason McDonald's will park you is because if they let you sit there for 30 seconds or a minute and then the other car drives up, it will generally irritate the person more if they have been allowed to sit there and then have to move. If you have them move right off the bat, the customer is generally less irritated. It's all about psychology.
  20. You are speaking about the Hague Convention, not the Geneva convention and you have it exactly backwards. The rounds used in war, meant for personnel HAVE to be steel jacketed around lead, so that expansion and fragmentation does not occur in the body. The rounds are lead rounds, fully encased in a steel jacket, and then copper plated.
  21. I see the WHOLE story is once again not posted. Why? Oh, probably because it would void the idiotic agenda of the OP. WEBSTER, N.Y. — An ex-con gunned down two firefighters after luring them to his neighborhood by setting a car and a house ablaze early Monday, then took shots at police and committed suicide while several homes burned. The gunman fired at the four firefighters when they arrived shortly after 5:30 a.m. at the blaze in Webster, a suburb of Rochester, town Police Chief Gerald Pickering said. The first police officer who arrived chased the suspect and exchanged gunfire.
  22. You are correcting people and then type a statement like that above? That state makes absolutely no sense, whatsoever. Keep talking about how uneducated we are.
  23. Really? So, I can't be sitting at a traffic light downtown, where there are anywhere from twenty to a hundred people possibly crossing the street in front of me, and just decide to take off and run a ALL of them over? You are so damn naive it isn't even funny. "You are not being logical."
  24. I wonder if it has anything to do with the thread in the recent topics, "Anyone missing a small goat?"
  25. Sorry, but MOST automobile crashes/deaths/etc are NOT accidents. They are caused by CARELESS drivers. It's simply commonly called an "Accident."
