Thank goodness that Sgt. at Arms Kevin Vickers had a gun. He is a Hero! He saved the lives of others. http://abcnews.go.com/International/canada-shooting-hero-identified-sgt-arms-kevin-vickers/story?id=26379728 Vickers, 58, is a former police officer who had worked for the Royal Canadian Mounted Police for nearly three decades before he joined Canada's House of Commons as the head of security in 2005. He was appointed Sgt. at Arms the following year.

I have no clue what he is talking about. I agree that some details are needed.

Prayers for your precious grandson. Hoping he is well ASAP.

If they are blocking traffic they need to be taken to jail. -
I doubt that. Most who do that seem to be believers. I think they are crazy.

Something we can agree on. I met her a week or so ago. She is a beautiful young woman and I know her parents have to be proud.

I think it will turn out to be fanatics who are Terrorists. Canada had scheduled an event with the young girl who wanted an education and was shot by the Taliban. The one who won the Nobel Peace Prize. Think they have made her an honorary citizen. Don't know if it is related. Very odd that Canada would be targeted for this.

They are a peace loving people. I can't understand not having the soldiers armed though. Hope I heard that wrong. Valid comment by mshoward. Terrorist attacks too often are being called workplace violence and it is costing victims compensation they should be getting. Now that is what is political.

Black Panthers have said the cop has to pay and he better not be found to have acted in self defense. There will be trouble. It appears the Cop defended himself. -
They think there might be more than one shooter. One is dead. Terrorist attack????? Multiple shootings. http://www.cbc.ca/news/politics/parliament-hill-attack-1-gunman-dead-after-soldier-shot-at-national-war-memorial-1.2808710

If they just returned from Africa's Ebola affected area the child can't go back to school until cleared by the CDC. New rule for some counties in Georgia.

The question was whether infected Africans would come here for treatment and lie to do it. Can't help the lax hospital procedure. You speak of humanitarian efforts by the US citizens. I think we should treat it in Africa and keep it out of America. when it comes to a choice between the safety of my family and the tugging of heart strings for the people of a foreign country my family will win out every time. I have already said that it is possible we will be strangled by our own heart strings.

You mean it will stay with the outsourcer, Southwire?
-
No, we won't catch all of them, if they are coming here because they have been exposed. A handful of tylenol will take care of a fever if the person is not one of the 30% who don't run one. I think it is just a bigger risk to this country and our citizens. If you are not afraid of the spread of this disease you should be. JMO

Yes we should get to vote on them. If I get a vote in it that is what it will be. If it were up to me I would vote to elect our local Superintendent. They only get that much say because the Governor allows it. If he gets along better with the new Superintendent I expect more power will be given back to that office.

This Administration has decided that travelers from Ebola stricken areas of Africa have to travel to Atlanta or one of four other airports. Will this cause it to spread or stop it from spreading? Nothing this Administration does surprises me any longer. http://www.ajc.com/news/ap/top-news/homeland-security-orders-new-screening-for-ebola/nhn8t/ There are no direct flights to the United States from West Africa. About 94 percent of the roughly 150 people traveling daily from West Africa to the U.S. arrive at the one of the five airports. Homeland Security Secretary Jeh Johnson said Tues

Fixed for you in my post too.

You got it right but that does not surprise me.
