  1. I have seen some things in the past year that truly shocked me. The members on the Commission who were responsible needed to be replaced and some have. I believe in the next election the remaining two will be replaced. You folks who speak of the people not voting and that was the reason some new folks won last time need to wake up. They won because the voters who do care wanted a change. I did not like the underhanded way the past Commissioners voted to tie the hands of the new Commission. There are more of me out here than you know. Try doing things the right way and see the changes th
  2. Right there with you! It is time to pick up some broken pieces and put this county back together again. Mr. Jones resigned. We should let him go and stop throwing stones. I wish him the best and I pray for our friends and neighbors who have been torn apart by this airport issue.
  3. You think what you like my friend but there is more to the story. I think it is in the best interest of Paulding County and all involved to let Mike Jones go and move on.
  4. He has officially resigned. That is the word I got this morning. Yes, it is true.
  5. I think the taxpayers who foot the bill are the ones who should decide if a board is successful or not. When the Commissioners voted to hand over everything to the Airport Authority they lost me. It was wrong in September and it is wrong today. I think you can see how I would vote on the success of the old Commission and I guess that would extend to the Authorities.
  6. Some folks have called for him to be fired but last I heard it has not happened.
  7. Governor Deal has changed the way many of them are treated in the system. New policies. Holder has stepped in and said that all forfeiture money that the Feds agreed to let other law enforcement groups keep has to go back to the Feds. The new Human Trafficking Bill being introduced in Georgia has forfeiture involved. Kind of raised a flag for me.
  8. We are in agreement about this. It becomes petty and just consumes time. Make it about something important.
  9. Obama is an idiot so I would take Walker any day of the week. Wonder when Obama is going to release his college papers and grades?
  10. Of course you are entitled to your opinion. Most of the time we agree and I was kind of joking with some of my comment. BTW I really like Scott Walker and he does not have a college degree either. He has been a great Governor in Wisconsin so he is living proof that a government official does not necessarily have to have a degree. Karen Handel does not have one either and I like her too.
  11. I disagree. You do know the guy who started the Varsity did not have a college degree don't you. There are many successful businessmen and women who don't. I am tempted to say stuff it.......
  12. Don't ask. It won't fly over here. Very pie in the sky kind of folks over there.
  13. You can get that by schooling yourself. Think he has done that.. Why not give him a chance before you start pounding on him. He is the Post Commissioner and he may be one of the best we have ever had.
  14. No offense taken and I hope you don't take any when I say I think you are wrong!
  15. I think he will do very well as a post Commission member. He is a good man. I have no doubt that at least a couple of good people will stand up when the time comes.
  16. Second Heath Flooring Concepts. They did the hardwood and tile in my house. Great work and great folks.
  17. He was commenting on my post about not watching him and Patti.
  18. Still lobbying to stop the strip searches too. I have no clue what the rest of the fun is about. I take offense to anything that makes fun of serious concerned citizens who just want to be heard. Pubby, if you and Patti are doing that please stop. I did not watch because from the comments I was reading here about the language and content I decided to pass.
  19. I thought I was defending the right of Patients and Doctors to decide their course of treatment. That would mean defending people who need the medication to live any sort of a functioning life.. That decision should rest with them and not the government.
