My prayers are with Glenn Richardson and family
NewsJunky replied to Lady Raider's topic in Paulding County NEWS
Depression is a terrible thing to battle. It can and has cost lives. My heart goes out to Glenn and his Family and I will be praying for them all. -
Bush has been gone for a long time. There is no excuse for the present administration not to have booted him from the service, at the very least, before he was able to do this.

Did you know that stuff could travel to the brain. No I have not used it! -
General George Casey, the Army’s top officer is more worried that diversity will become a casualty of the Fort Hood tragedy too. “Our diversity, not only in our Army, but in our country, is a strength. And as horrific as this tragedy was, if our diversity becomes a casualty, I think that’s worse,” Casey said. http://blogs.reuters.com/frontrow/2009/11/08/general-casey-diversity-shouldnt-be-casualty-of-fort-hood/ Well I would respectfully disagree with him!!! I think the safety of our citizen, soldiers, and country should take the FRONT SEAT and diversity should FOLLOW behind in the bac

You may be right, They do seem to get the best. They just got Don Imus and John Stossel and let's not forget Major Garrett. He is doing an interview for Fox with the President next week in China.

Now don't go trashing Glenn. He really believes in what he does. I think he is one of the most passionate honest guys out there. I for one am glad Glenn is in the would at this time because he is a clear voice for real change that we can all believe in! Still like Lou though and hope he stays around.

I would trade him for Lou!

I love Country Music but it can't compete with Vampires!
-
I might vote for him!!
-
I kind of liked it. I keep missing it too. We are watching a cool Criminal Minds! They have Vampires tonight. At least someone who thinks they are a Vampire!

Does anyone think he might run for office?

I Hope he does not go far. I have enjoyed his fiesty reporting for a long time. http://mediadecoder.blogs.nytimes.com/2009/11/11/lou-dobbs-to-depart-cnn/ Lou Dobbs, the longtime CNN anchor whose anti-immigration views have made him a TV lightning rod, said Wednesday that he is leaving the cable news channel effective immediately. Sitting before an image of an American flag on his television set, he said “some leaders in media, politics and business have been urging me to go beyond the role here at CNN and to engage in constructive problem solving as well as to contribute positivel

You can't see my finger, but I am shaking it at you!

Don't know. But the article said that is what the argument was about. I am curious about how it got so far out of hand. Maybe LTD is correct and they just had too much to drink.

Words are never enough to change the pain and grief. My thoughts and prayers are with all of you.

You know, I hope you are right. I really was disturbed by this story. According to the article these folks hung out and discussed things all of the time. You might even think they were friends. Sad!

I hope folks don't think this is too disturbing to talk about. I bothered me when I read the story and I hate that folks don't seem to be able to talk about race relations in America right now. The discussion this story describes got way out of hand. These were well educated people who work together and are male and female. http://www.nypost.com/p/news/local/prof_busted_in_columbia_gal_punch_JmsXQ3NzaAt8uG6uUySGTN A prominent Columbia architecture professor punched a female university employee in the face at a Harlem bar during a heated argument about race relations, cops said yest

Would a sump pump help until you could get someone out? You might be able to get one at home depot.

It is getting dark here and I know the water is up in Sweetwater Creek. Does anyone know how long the rain is going to be over Paulding?
