  1. I pray that it is a hoax. What a way to miss getting to vote. I hope the folks in that Bldg. are all OK! http://www.ajc.com/n...-in-713747.html Two people are sick after a white, powdery substance was mailed to 200 Piedmont Avenue, Atlanta police said Tuesday afternoon. Four people who came in the contact with the substance have been isolated and are being evaluated, police spokeswoman Kimberly Maggart told the AJC. Piedmont Avenue is shut down from MLK to Decatur Street in downtown Atlanta, police said.
  2. Recounted and stolen. Remember Minnesota in the last election?
  3. I think if they don't understand the amendments they should vote no or skip them. If they know nothing about the candidates and nothing about party platforms they should stay home. If they go to vote for one candidate vote for them and skip all others.JMO If they don't know what or who they are voting for they have no business casting a vote.
  4. Weak Pubby, Weak!!! I am sorry would work very nicely.
  5. It doesn't make you any better it just makes you a person who can't physically stand in line for a long period. Everyone should have their chance to vote.
  6. If you are not well enough to stand in line tell the election officials and they will put you on through.
  7. Pubby, Solo is one of the most informed folks on your site. I hope after your comment she chooses to stay. I knew what you were doing because I have read so many of your posts. You can't go very long without throwing out some humor no matter how serious the subject is.
  8. Well I made sure my vote got counted. I am wondering why so many for this election. I hope the folks who are voting against MY candidates are not getting out their vote.
  9. Now you have done it!!! Glen Beck is not to be mocked!!!!! I may have to hijack this whole thread!
  10. My Hubby has already taken me to task because I convinced him to vote for a candidate and when he saw the candidate in a debate he yelped! Learned my lesson, let those guys find out for themselves!!!
  11. I have always said that you have one of the best political minds out there. Thank you for your comments they mean a lot. May the best candidate win today and I hope he/she works for the People of Paulding and for no one else.
  12. Great Post!!! It is a good sign and I hope folks don't let long lines discourage them. GO VOTE!!!!
  13. This is one place you can find them. Type in your info and click on them. http://www.sos.ga.gov/mvp/
  14. I have been told many times that if you post a picture on face book it is no longer a private picture. I guess there is a lesson to be learned here about privacy and how pictures that are not copy written can be used. Teachers have been fired because of stuff they put on face book.
  15. People are trying to read and understand the amendments. That is why it is a good thing if you can read them before going to vote. I stood in line when I voted early. Went in voted and left. The folks at the booths when I stepped up were still standing there when I left. I had to read those things several times before I could understand them. Still not sure I understand them. Thank you to the folks who wrote them!
  16. Yep! More adds on TV more phone calls and more money spent by both parties. wasted time, money, and energy.
  17. Matter of opinion I guess. Some folks choose to home school because of the political agendas that seem to creep into the education system. California is a very good example. I don't believe in spending American tax dollars to educate kids in other countries when we are laying off teachers and when there is a shortage of materials in the classrooms here. I would not like it if a teacher voiced this kind of political philosophy in the classroom either. JMO All of the qualities you say that Will has are wonderful. Do they change the liberal vote he might cast? I don't think so. If he
  18. I don't know if it is true. I heard it from a builder from Douglas County today.
  19. Now where else would I go to find the dirt on folks in this county?
  20. Make sure you let me know when. I want to go.
  21. Thank you my friends! You know how much I respect each of you. I am just glad that this election has not caused me to lose some of my very best friends. I can say it has been one of the most heated I have ever seen and I hope the candidate that wins will be the best one for District 19. He/she will be my Representative and I will hold their feet to the fire.
  22. You know I am not one to give up easily. I just keep thinking the truth will out! Thanks Madea.
