I ask the question because it seems to me that the Military should never have allowed him to work there since they were treating him for mental illness and he had a violent history. That question should be asked of our government. The shooter at Ft Hood had problems too and a history that should have prevented him from being employed by the Military. JMO

That is true Lucky but this guy was being treated for mental problems by the Military and had a violent history. WHY was he allowed access?

Apparently the shooter was Buddhist (nothing wrong with that), had a violent history, and heard voices. Why the heck did he have clearance to come on the base. Something is seriously wrong with that picture. Seems that story repeats itself time after time. When are they going to learn?

Because the FBI have been called in and the police seem to think there may be. Manhunt now underway it appears.

Helicopter landed on roof and then took off again. Looked like they took an injured person away.

Amen to that! There are some reports that 3 or 4 have been shot. Reports of an officer down. I pray this is resolved quickly.

Reports say there is at least one injury. They are searching building for the shooter. Reports I am hearing are from Fox News.

I like him. Love the pick outfits he made prisoners wear. They did not want to re visit his county jail. Some folks who accused him of abuse of power etc. should have been helping him enforce the law instead of putting up stumbling blocks for him. JMO Think that is what the City Manager said. The Mayor was outraged when he came back from a trip and got this notice. Guess they had a failure to communicate....
