I guess I must have misunderstood this thread. Completely.

Last Thursday I walked in to a restaurant, sat down, ordered a meal, and ate it leisurely......all by myself!!!! First time in my life. I know that may not seem like much to some. But I found it extremely empowering.

My break ups and make ups rarely make headline news. However, because she and I have become somewhat public figures here on the board, I will disclose this....she and I have had our differences, but the love remains.

On paper, I certainly am! Funny thing is that I'm very active in my community with charity events. I give freely of my time and energy to several worthy causes. I'm kind to old people and I take in stray animals. I have no criminal record or STDs. My grown children work full time and are productive members of society. According to most, I've done everything wrong and my priorities/belief system are totally out of whack. Yet here I am! Happy, healthy, smiling, and making my way in the world. It makes me sad to see all of those folks out there who are 'living right' and miserable.
