and it will fluccuate daily with moods, posts, phases of the moon. meh. i don't really care from whom the rating came. i'd just like a function to be able to see which posts were rated...instead of having to scroll through every post i've made.

they're displayed in the profile of the individual as well. setting them invisible....wouldn't that negate the whole process? if no one can see the rating, why have the rating system? your call. but hey, can you look in to the possibility of a feature that allows the user to click on their rating in their profile, and see which posts they were rated on? kinda like the mayberry/bullet, click on it and see why it was issued?

agreed. i have a problem with the use of slang or cutsie names in this instance. we want folks to support breast cancer research in hopes of finding a cure. why then diminish the seriousness of the cause by using ridiculous words in place of "breasts". wants folks to take your breasts seriously and not think of them as sexual organs that are taboo? try calling them breasts instead of ta-tas.

from what i can tell by playing with it some this morning..... there's no commenting about it. nothing to read but a number. it's just a click of a + or -, and no way to tell who clicked it. it would be nice if we could click our reputaion rating on our profile and be able to tell which posts were rated, but i don't see that function enabled as of right now. (if it ever can be) it's driving me a lil bit nutty to not know what i've been rated on unless i go look at all of my posts. forget mah jong. this is my new time waster!!!

there's also a party city up here in kennesaw, past the mall. it's around the corner from where i work. did you need something specific picked up? -
interestingly enough, i can see that one of the green 1s from a previously positive rated post has been removed. which means to me that one person likes it and one doesn't. fair enough. (this makes for interesting strategy. instead of having to look for a post to disagree with, one can simply look for a post that someone else liked, and negate that vote. sneaky!!!) it's gonna be hard to keep up with which posts my reputation rating is reflecting. I was hoping that by clicking in the green reputation box in my profile it would show a listing of which posts have been rated what, but alas, no

i'm not quite sure how this will work in terms of "folowing you from post to post" what i've already noticed this morning, and i'm not sure if you can see it too, is that my first post in this topic has a green 1 at the bottom. when i click on my profile, it says my reputation is a green 1. however, that the green 1 doesn't appear on the other posts i've made in this topic. this leads me to believe that you can tell which post you've gotten rated on, individually. again, i don't know if this is something that only i, meaning the recipient of the rating, can see, or if it's visible to

and that, i wouldn't have so much of a problem with. i've always had the clear understanding that this*is* a privately owned board, which throws the 'freedom of speech' argument right out the window. no one has freedom of speech in my house, if i don't like what you're sayin' you'll be invited to leave. perfectly understandable for pubby to take the same approach. understanding that his moderators and administrators are his proxies, i get the whole bullet and mayberry approach. again, this is not made a secret when one joins this board. it's not a democracy here. it's privately owned prop
