the laquinta looks nice. and also looks closest to the speedway. we think we want to stay on the beach though. the race is only 1 night, and the vacation is 4 days.

there are some great reviews too. each room is privately owned, and not the hotels responsibility to maintain. there are bad reviews of the rooms owned by irresponsible folks, and great reviews of the rooms owned by folks who keep them cleaned. toss up at this point.

4th of july weekend. i want nothing to do with any 'chain' hotels. no highrises. no onsite spas. no generic rooms. older is fine. i'm in love with the character of the rooms that i saw on the castaways website. just googled it. waaaayyyy to commercial for my tastes. but thank you. this is the room that i fell in love with at castaways. funky. florida. not generic chain.

grands at 92 and e paulding dr has a sign on the door for full time and part time positions open.

has anyone ever stayed at castaways in daytona? i would love to hear feedback.

we've done the hardwood floors, completely renovated the basement. done tons of work to the backyard, built a new deck in the back, and are replacing the front porch and flower beds this spring. in the next 2 years i want to renovate the kitchen and both bathrooms. (with j's help) we realize we'll never get out of this house what we've put in to it. but that's ok. we love living here, and we're home improvement junkies.

after 7 hours in the ER the kiddo wanted mickey d's and the dh just wanted food. angus burgers for all. plus 20 chicken nuggets for the kiddo. and he ate every bite.

we've not been in our house for three years yet. we love the house and the yard, and are constantly doing improvement projects on both. there's no where else i want to live for the next 10 years at least, so we're enjoying living here to the fullest. i'd move 4 of my immediate neighbors out of state in a heartbeat though. nasty puckers.

folks got so damn bent around the axle with their assumptions that these pictures were requested so that they could be published in hustler. wrong. the pictures were requested to be viewed by a true crime witer, who also writes for hustler, so that in his writing he could accuratly describe the condition of the body. perhaps that's not the important part though? perhaps news writers and true crime writers shouldn't be able to see the photos? maybe they should just write/report on what 'they had heard had happened' from someone who works in the morgue? i mean, why hold writers/reporters a

someone slap me. but i side with jughaid on this one. whole heartdly. open to all or open to none? really? what's wrong with case by case basis? every cold case documentary you've ever watched used the open records act to gain their footage. should they not have? were the photos misused? if those pics were published in hustler, would YOU see them? i'm guessing not. but a documentary on true tv? prolly so. what makes mr flynt such a sick bastard is your perception of him. a photo is a photo, regardless of which media outlet prints or airs it.
