i'm of the opinion that most times, when people ask for advice, what they're really searching for is permission to do what they've already made their mind up to do anyway. at the heart of the matter, i think you've known what you're going to do. it is nice though to figure out how many people will agree with you before you go through with it.

my heart goes out to you and them. i don't know that i could give solid advice, so i'll just offer a prayer instead.

i just noticed them tonight. had to pick up the kids from a school thing. walked out the front door at about 8:45. saw 'em. squealed.

sitting on the back deck, listening to the hum of the pool pump, smelling chlorine and jasmine. slight breeze keeping any potential mosquitoes away. still a few lights winking out in the way back of the yard. :sigh:

well, i obviously have no shame. he prolly doesn't anymore either.

i think it would be a great idea if those that had the time and inclination could help out on a more localized, individual level. i'm sure that there are folks right here who need a lil help with various and assorted tasks/projects. scratching backs, so to speak. i'm available to help a new mom with laundry for a few hours, or mow someone's lawn. neighbors helping neighbors......... and just as soon as i finished typing what i thought to be a brilliant idea, it dawned on me that some would take the opportunity to use this as a way to get free labor out

i'm looking in to the stuff that;s dervived from the stevia plant. problem is that i don't usually add sweetner to anything. i drink my diet coke, and my crystal light packets. unless they switch, i'm stuck.

i've been told to do without. period. no sugar or substitutes. i obviously declined to follow that suggestion.
