function vs. forum. i meant an instant chat feature akin to the one on facebook, or yahoo. pms aren't moderated, chat shouldn't need to be either. chance of rain is too high anyway.

perhaps that explains the lag? i am a fast typer. but i have to make numerous corrections before i hit send. some for spelling, some for grammar. sometimes while editing, i'll change my mind about the whole statement. that could also explain the lag.

because my day hasn't been difficult enough, i'm currently watching/reading pan's labyrinth. nearly impossible to attempt a hijack and read subtitles at the same time. i have the inclination, just not the concentration.
