well, the grass almost got cut. just a patch in the backyard left. hubby abandoned the riding mower when the skies got dark and the wind picked up. we threw some shock in the pool and turned on the pump. closed the umbrella and picked up the random stuff on the patio. the lima's that got planted yesterday haven't been watered in yet, in anticipation of the impending rains. so of course. i'm betting it will miss us.

DUI at 18. such a shame that he chose to do drugs and drive. but for that, a life could have been spared. i for one will be having the drugs and seatbelt talks with my boys tonight.

i've been reading these threads about the crash, and thought that i read that everyone was wearing a seatbelt. so sad to learn that the young man killed was not, and was ejected.
