  1. fire up the grill, or ride around on the mower.
  2. i'll try to make sure that it went to good use. (collards, limas, turnips, and rutabagas this fall)
  3. you have to prepare for it. then use reverse psychology on it.
  4. go outside, hell!!! the tree in the front yard got struck by lightning last week. i have no death wish. besides. i'd melt.
  5. indeed. the rains make their coats come in thick and luxurious.
  6. well, the grass almost got cut. just a patch in the backyard left. hubby abandoned the riding mower when the skies got dark and the wind picked up. we threw some shock in the pool and turned on the pump. closed the umbrella and picked up the random stuff on the patio. the lima's that got planted yesterday haven't been watered in yet, in anticipation of the impending rains. so of course. i'm betting it will miss us.
  7. dunno. but, my ankles ROCK!!!!
  8. i saw it on the news. and cheered for the bull.
  9. oooh! me too. i hafta buy the frozen stuff. mine from scratch never turns out right!
  10. imagine if any of those accidents happened on the way to the park and ride, or involving a shuttle bus.
  11. might work for atlanta. but here in paulding? how are you gonna accommodate all the subdivisions?
  12. um, i made the same mistake earlier. but didn't get my ass up on my shoulders over it.
  13. i felt the same way. but in this case it was influence of drugs (marijuana) not alcohol.
  14. i always wish that wne people ran these sales they'd advertise them as BOGOHO silly, but it bumped you.
  15. a bit ironic the way that LPPT's post implies that you shouldn't believe something you read on pcom until it's been verified by another news source. i thought pcom was a news source. makes less sense now that LPPT's post has been edited by the pcom police.
  16. it's just irresponsible. all the way around.
  17. my apologies for the comments about alcohol.
  18. DUI at 18. such a shame that he chose to do drugs and drive. but for that, a life could have been spared. i for one will be having the drugs and seatbelt talks with my boys tonight.
  19. i've been reading these threads about the crash, and thought that i read that everyone was wearing a seatbelt. so sad to learn that the young man killed was not, and was ejected.
