i agree with the majority of your point of view. however....this show is not a true portrayal of the average polyamorous family. the separate living quarters, kitchens, livingrooms, etc....that's not "normal". the division of time by a calendar/schedule isn't "normal" either. the bonding of the women, the coparenting and having more than one mom, the division of labor, both inside and outside of the home, depending on individual strengths and weaknesses......these things are the root of the family. these things, and love.

at sixteen, and at his first job, my child is mature enough to not talk back to or question adults/ persons in positions of authority. he has learned the hard way that there are some people who will take advantage of well mannered youth. while he no longer works for this establishment, they are gaining quite the reputation for treating people badly. I'm curious to know if there are other young employees being asked (not very nicely) to break the law to keep their jobs. is there a way to file a report after the fact, and or find out if other complaints have been filed? at some point,

hypothetically speaking..... if i wanted to make a big deal over the hours my child was being scheduled to work, how would i go about it? would i need to bring it to the attention of the establishment where he works, first? perhaps the management there didn't understand the work permit he presented that stated he could only work X amount of hours per week, and only until X time in the evenings? Or would i just take his paystubs, showing almost twice the hours allowed being worked for the week....and hours being worked past curfew and sometimes overnight....to the Dept of Labor?

How Far Should The Rights Of Children Go When

the total ban at that school is a policy. the law states that processions must be made, but does not clearly spell out what those provisions must be. regardless. I think it's completely unrealistic to ask for all of the students, teachers, visitors, and faculty members to change their entire lives/routines for the sake of one persons allergy. not when that one person could just change theirs. my opinion. if my child had an allergy this severe, id keep him home, safe, and away from the dangers of peanut dust. likewise, if my child were in a school where his rights were infringed upon for -

your link addressed a policy. not a law. and in your link, the lady who brought peanut butter was not arrested for breaking a law. I have no idea what a policy or ban at the oak ridge school has to do with my congressman here in Georgia. where is the oak ridge school? -
the west bank. Belle Chasse. relocated to picayune ms now. we have a compound.

why not? how the hell does this child cope in daily life? shop in a mall? watch a movie in the theatre? are the entire peanut butter rights of the entire general public stripped when this child walks into a room? and don't give me the whole compassionate/guilt trip speech. I'll save you the trouble. I have none. not for situations like this. -
