  1. Sorry for your loss. May God grant you Peace and Comfort during these times. It really sucks to loose your dad, but may memories carry you through.
  2. Thanks! He has been gone 3 years now. After loosing a child, I think the next worse thing to a parent is thinking that their child is forgotten. While anyone who ever met Trey will not forget him many do not remember that he was a decorated Veteran of the Iraqi war. We are proud of his service!
  3. Muggers Return Wallet after Seeing Army ID MILWAUKEE — A Milwaukee Army reservist's military identification earned him some street cred Tuesday, when he says four men who mugged him at gunpoint returned his belongings and thanked him for his service after finding the ID...
  4. Not much to add to that! Wonderful words. I want to personally thank all who have served to keep this nation great!
  5. bump for the evening crowd. This is a wonderful organization that is truly there for the families who loose loved ones who serve our country!
  6. You left off "DON'T CARE - GET BACK TO REGULAR TV PROGRAMMING" as an option!
  7. Welcome to the craziness of P.com and Paulding county!
  8. It's a great show. The last show was really funny with the halloween theme. I'm also glad to hear that we are not alone. When we find shows we like, they tend to disappear!
  9. There are no bad seats in the Fox! My favorite seats are in the balcony if you get the loge or first few rows behind there.
  10. It would certainly be avaialble at city hall for a nominal copying fee. I don't know where it would be online.
  11. That sounds sooooo good right now (as I have my crackers and diet dr pepper for lunch)! I'll have to check them out next week.
  12. Just as a related reminder, this still shows as a violation to the insurance companies! You may not get "points" against your license, but it will still show on your MVR as a ticket. I see this fairly often when someone says they don't have a ticket because they had been told that there wouldn't be any points...
  13. Very interesting show. I will certainly be watching again tomorrow night.
  14. That is exactly how we felt until we lost our son at 23. Our daughter is now somewhat alone. While having another sibling wouldn't remove the hurt of loosing her big brother, there would be someone else to share the pain with. She has several close friends, but it isn't the same as a close sibling. There is also a big difference in having a family of 5 (including our son's wife) and then it being only 3 again. We did make the consious decision to keep it at 2, for many reasons, but now (that they would be grown and on their own!), 3-5 sounds like it would have been nice. It may not m
  15. Absolutely a great story. I have never thought of the need for a Chaplin at the airport, but if given much thought, it makes a lot of sense.
  16. I voted yes, but it obviously would depend on the closeness of the "friendship". Acquaintance wouldn't cut it (no bad pun intended), but a lifelong, or close friend wouldn't have to ask twice.
  17. No problem neighbor. Just give me a call if you want any additional information.
  18. I don't remember if it was 4 or 5 days. They had her walking on the 2nd day. Her's was a planned thing, and not the result of a fall or trauma. That can extend the stay, and complicate the recovery, I think.
  19. It was much less invasive than we had expected. There was a 6-8" incision more to the side than actually in the back. I don't see how they can do a full replacement with any smaller incision. We have stairs into our front door, so she had to do 8 stairs in the hospital before she could come home. She was able to do 4 weeks of PT at home, and then went back to work at 9 weeks instead of the normal 12. I don't know if it is because she was in so much pain before the surgery, or if it is the skill of the surgen, but she has done better than anyone we have heard of after this surgery. Sh
  20. My wife had it done 3 months ago, and is doing great! It is out of the way, but I recommend the Emory Spine and Orthopaedic center. They were excellent. The nurses and staff at the hospital are only dealing with spine and orthopaedic surgery patients, so they know what they're doing. Dr. Greg Erens, 404-778-3350. We were not happy with the guy Resurgens recommended at all!
  21. I was at work on the 25th floor next door to the tallest building in Atlanta at the time. We didn't have televisions, and it didn't take long for everyone to overload the bandwith on our internet connections. Information was spotty, and they eventually sent us home around 10:30, thinking that there were threats to Atlanta buildings as well. It changed our world forever. We should never forget the tragedy of that day, and the reasons behind it. There have been other posts discussing showing or not showing the videos of that day. They should be shown, it should disturb people. Otherwise
  22. I have never personally dealt with them, and have only known one person who actually used them. Let me preface this with the fact that it was many years ago. The rates were excellent, and customer service was great. When it came time for a homeowner's claim, it wasn't so great. It took a long time to get the claim settled. No disagreements on coverage or repair costs, just slow processing. I seem to remember about 8 months for a payment to be made. If you don't find what you're looking for, I would love to give you a quote!
  23. Comment deleted... forgot I was on my CM!! Per other threads, I don't want to offend anyone!
