Part of my family is from East GA/Athens areas and I had heard the "tales" about soap sally as a kid. But I'll tell you who does care, thousands of kids trolling through the site daily looking for anything unflattering they can "make up" a story about to get fake internet points or clout with these days on other websites. Many of these "Boys can't handle these curves" memes showing obese girls who are being publicly named and shamed and it only takes a few hours of this on an alt social media site before thousands of people start showing up on their Facebook pages full of hate and bile for the girl for daring to post this crap when it's not even them.
